I want to make an Otarian Mafia (MtG: Oddysey Block).

And I would love to play in Smash Bros. Mafia as well as in Dark Tower mafia.

Is there some way that we can test the balance of a mafia game setup here somewhere?

I'm a fan and I have yet to play in one. So I'd play. If you wanted to lure others, maybe you should add some crazy role mechanic or something.
!Chucklez! wrote:6. Mutiny (Not based of Pirates of the Car. like the other. Just a regular ship that has a few mutinous crew members.
This one you could probably do easily as a mini.
!Chucklez! wrote: 11. Philosophers (You character will be a philosopher. Who exactly would be Mafia would be somewhat of a philisophic question itself :-P )
I would so love to play this one. But my homie Foucault would have to be in there.

I like the second if I could be the creepy pedop...uh...I mean...the first one.

I'd definately play Smash Brothers.

You can post in this thread if you want a more experienced mod to look at your setup.

I'd be in for that - it basically amounts to a "Nintendo Greatest Hits" mafia which would rock.

No creepy paedophiles. Well, there are in the late-19th-century coffeehouse, but not in the sleepover game.

Hmmm, I'm trying to think whether the whole "don't go to night automatically" could work or not, and how to balance it. Most of my ideas result in a game dramatically different to how we usually think of Mafia - but that's the point of theme games, no?

Rough idea... Mornington Crescent Mafia, anyone? It would take a lot of work, not to mention the most complicated Portuguese Star Chart ever.

Likewise.

*Standard "if I have time" clause applies. Which I don't... :( *

I have an idea for a zombie-themed mafia-esque, ORG-esque (even though I know nothing about ORGs, I'm just guessing), RPG-esque, board game-esque game, but I don't have the time or [probably] the patience.

So basically, I'm looking for someone (or many people) to work with on this. PM me if interested.

Also, I have various ideas for

time travelling mixed theme (but that's done to death on this forum, so that's on hold until scene comes back), and

an anime-themed game with non-standard win conditions.

[I like experimental games.]

But like I said, although I like thinking up weird roles, I'm not really cut out for modding, so if anyone's wants the setup (well, more like a sketch of a setup, I can't remember what exactly I had), or just wants someone to bounce ideas off, PM me or something.

I'm torn, Macros. I'd much rather play than mod, but if I don't have time to play, I'd rather help devise the game...are you really going to try to start it before 11/11?

well, i'd be starting it soon, hoping to have it finished in time for release of knife of dreams, i've only got a few vague ideas so far, i was thinking of doing one before, me and someother memeber were working on it, i forget who, and all my notes have long since vanished, it shouldnt be too hard to get back to where i was.
chucklez, im looking ofr a co-mod as well as writer, sorry. if i get any other offers mr flay i'll let you know, so you can still play in it.

Running this through the gauntlet:

The Zoo - a large scale version of my mini Animafia.

Would anyone play? Or was one game of animals enough?
