You're a bit late...
Sounds like Police Heat or some type of Vendetta level. So it would be kinda' like Karma Mafia, where the more you use your action the more likely you'll get bad stuff?DeathNote wrote:Ok, nightless game. Certain people have unlimited killing abilities. Game runs on Notoriety meaning that the more conspicuous things you do, like killing, the higher your Notoriety goes. Once you reach a certain level of Notoriety, your role gets revealed. No town has unlimited kills. Lynching happens normally every three weeks.
The big problem would be preventing a D1 massclaim and lynching all the people who are scum.RedCoyote wrote:There's this idea that's been coming up in my head every so often. It would be a game where everyone knows another player's role, but they don't know their own.
Also, Vi, please keep me up to date on the MST3KM developments.

Have the roles be very different. The balance will be the same for both colors; I just made red more powerful in that specific example for the sake of argument.Locke Lamora wrote:Yeah, I figured you were going for that, sounds like there would be some fun interactions. From the sounds of it I'm guessing you are deliberately going to make one colour more powerful for the mafia, or at least have the roles be very different?
That sounds like a very powerful mafia! With what little thought I've put into it, I think it would be beautiful without too many powers. It also might work better as a large game.Mafioso 1 is Godfather/Poisoner
Mafioso 2 is Roleblocker/Dayvig
Mafioso 3 is Goon/Roleblocker
