I like it. I think it'd be better if the traitor was guaranteed though, cause then the GF has to worry which one it is, not just if there is one.

New Idea:
Nightless Open Mafia:

Town

5 Vanilla Townies
2 Rivals (Must lynch the other, then win with town. Cannot win if the other is still alive.)


Mafia

1 Mafia Goon

1 Mafia Traitor (Cannot win if Mafia Godfather is still alive)

1 Mafia Godfather (Cannot win if he gets lynched)


Special Mechanics:
-Town MUST LYNCH
-During the night the mafia may talk however no night-kill will occur.

The rival that dies first cannot win no matter what. However if the one that outlasts the other gets lynched after their rival was already lynched, they still win with the town.

The mafia traitor must be alive when the mafia godfather gets lynched in order to fill the first part of his/her win condition. If they die before the godfather does then they do not win with the mafia.

The godfather must outlive the traitor. He still wins if the traitor makes it to endgame.

So if GF and usurper live to endgame, GF wins and usurper loses.
If GF lives and usurper dies, GF wins and usurper loses.
If usurper lives and GF dies, usurper wins and GF loses.
If usurper dies, but GF died before he did, usurper wins and GF loses.
If usurper and GF die, but usurper dies first, GF wins with mafia and usurper loses.

Is that correct?

I got an idea.
Hiding madness.

6 x Hiders
1 x Mafia double redirector


The mafia has no kill.
If hiders hide with mafia they die.
If a person hides with a person that dies they die too.
Everyone must hide.
The mafia can redirect two persons each night.


What do you think?
The redirector is there to prevent the I hide with ,you hide with and the person who gets killed hided with scum.
I think it''s a fun setup and the town not only has to lynch correctly but also has to find a strategic way to don't get killed in one night.
Should it be day start or night start?
Should it be a 9 person game with one more hider and one goon?

Ok sorry if I'm rude Vezo, but if one there's a 4% chance this game ends with a mafia win N-0
And if you add more hiders and a goon then what does the goon do?
Also the redirector, if he were smart would simply redirect two people to hide with himself, or if you block that, he would redirect them to hide with the same person, so you may end up with three dead townies every night, so after two mislynches(which is very likely with the setup) its a mafia night 2 win or night 1 win if you start N-0, and then the mafia only needs one mislynch.

Yeah, I don't see what the Hiders add to the game. They're unable to rely on their data due to the redirection, so even HypoHiding (is that a new word?) doesn't really gain you anything.
You're probably actually better off NOT hiding (thus preventing the Redirector from killing you) and playing the game like 1:7 Nightless Mountainous.
I see you've forbidden that, for obvious reasons.

you think the Town play should be here, vezok? It

to be Day Start, or you lose (at least) two players before they even do anything, and even still, they'll lose at least two players a Night, so they've got at most two chances to lynch right. How are you envisioning the Hiders approaching/using their information?

Well the town play should be lynching scum.
The scum play should be to just relax and redirect people.It makes up for funny nights.
