Uhm, it is down there and has been since Day One, I swear to gods. Bottom left, same line as the "Subscribe Topic" link... you're not the first person to miss it.Fenchurch wrote:Personally, I'd like a link to the forum main page at the bottom. That's usually where I want to go when I'm done reading a thread, rather than just 'Return to Help'.
Would it be possible to copy something like: 'Board index › Administration › Help!', as well as the other stuff that you mentioned?Retired as of October 2014.- ReaperCharlie

Yeah, from her post it looks like she missed the Board Index link, but if I'm not mistaken, I think she'd like to have the whole tree, not just the index...?
i.e. instead of '< Return to Help!' it'd be 'Board index > Administration > Help!', just below the Reply button. Doable?
I would certainly like that too, if it's not too much fuss.Show"Take me to Pleasure Town!" "Look, the most Glorious Rainbow Ever!" "Do me on it!" -

Not sure if this is the proper place to ask, but does a Game Mod have the capability to disallow emoticons in a thread?- Nobody Special

Also, (and this could be an issue with the browser I'm using here), the Contact icons for each poster have shifted a bit to the right.

Probably a browser thing; they're shifted in IE, too.Nobody Special wrote:Also, (and this could be an issue with the browser I'm using here), the Contact icons for each poster have shifted a bit to the right.

As for the other part, I don't think so. Is there a particular reason you need them banned?Retired as of October 2014.- Nobody Special

I have since learned that this is (somehow) a Private Label version of IE; so that explains that.
And yes, I'm going to be running txtMafia, and it would be useful to turn off emoticons so that they show asrather than -- for ease of character-counting, as well as to preserve txt-like flavor for the game. No big deal if it can't easily be done, though.Code: Select all

The bolded part: I'm sure you meant something else, as what I bolded is precisely what I want.Mr. Flay wrote:It would be non-trivial, I fear.
As a game mod, you SHOULD be able to edit any posts where people forget anddisable emoticons in that thread, though, if that helps. Just put it in big letters in your rules and you should be fine.
But since it's non-trivial, it's moot. I'll just work around it.- Mr. Flay

Something that might be more trivial--
On the old site, you could tell what each person's screen name on AIM or MSN or whatever was just by looking at where the buttons attached to each person's profile linked to. Now you can't. Please fix this so I maystalk people with renewed efficiencysta--...um, that actually IS why I want it back.Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. It's only one click to display it in the little pop-up window. The username is in brackets. Seems like only one click is not that much effort for stalking?"Don’t buy a dozen eggs if you just want a hardboiled egg. Don’t buy a head of lettuce if you just want a salad. Oh. I still felt really creepy for clicking it though. (I know, I know...)Please note that you need AOL Instant Messenger installed to use this.

Hello. I've never put anything on the wish list nor really cared, but I thought I would add this suggestion. Would it be possible to insert some coding so that when you quote a post it automatically includes the name of the poster and the posts number? I manually add it now but I think this would be awesome. Examples below:

If you quote a post from the button on the right edge, it should do the name part automatically. Number is a good idea, but it may take some time to integrate, if it's even possible (post numbers are kind of calculated on the fly, at least for now).
I'm back in town. It'll take me a day or seven to get back up to speed, but if there's anything I should know about, bold or quote it for me.Retired as of October 2014.- ReaperCharlie
