As I said earlier, I still don't think town would have a bodyguard if scum don't have any kills. Especally since Dram said that he could block kills but not recruitments.gandalf5166 wrote:Xvart, there were no NKs that couldn't be accounted for by the loose cannons. I said zwet and ooba because they were the only claimed ones and I didn't know they were oneshot. Now I think there are probably a few of them, but I still don't think scum has a NK.

Enough of this foolishness. Let's try lynching scum, shall we?
If you're having trouble figuring out why ooba is scum, read his post again.
a) Town-ooba never makes cases this thin or terrible (for why it's terrible, see my reply below).
b) Look how wrong he is about me, zwet,ANDFurcolow. Town ooba is never this wrong.
c) Andrius got no-result on him. i.e. he's one of the don's sons with investigation immunity.
d) If you need more proof... well... you might be his scumbuddy.
Pay attention to the emphasis below. Red is what I've just added, bold is for emphasis in what I am referring to in my post below ooba's.
And here is my rebuttal in post again.ooba wrote:- I really do not understand Porochaz's insistence on Friend scum
- Faraday's really buddying up to friend - beyond the call of duty of a townie who even has a certain read - Could be recruit buddying up to somebody else to paint him as CL but I'll still put Faraday under townie though ..
- Friend's WIFOM about recruiting is bad town play
- Andruis you have to post more or take more stances before I can slot you on the list. I'm confused about furclow because like Yos it started with a town read then went to "Oh is he scum?" when he started saying he was lying and stuff .. HP mafia still plays on my mind though ..
- @animorph actually appears useful this game. I'll need to read a scum game of his.
- @Vezo, whats up with the ultra dram defense? And you never answered my question about "one of the brothers or scum" bit ..
- @TL, if you think "I think M=W is scum if you're town or vice versa", why would you vote anyone but one of those?
- Yos's list basically attacks everyone I think is town (except furclow). Zwet's "Why did Yos put me under town?" might be opportunistic considering that people were going on the experienced people getting recruited bit.
- I believe Friend vs Yos is town on town andRC is cheerleading the fight.
- Andruis is town for not fueling the fight. zwet chooses a different corner. 515 also reinforces my vibe thatRC is cheerleading a Town-Town fight. (Well from his PoV if there are two scum teams, I guess he's cheerleading a non-his-team-member x2 fight)
- 554 Furclow votes for one person out of Yos-Friend while he feels the "other is squirming as scum"
Hence to summarize - I believe Yos vs Friend is town on town andscum from both teams are spurring it on. That'd be
-RC(proven town by investigation)
- Zwet(proven town by flip)
- Furclow(proven town by flip)
Unvote. Vote: RC
Now.ReaperCharlie wrote:Hmmm... I make one post about Friend saying he's town, and one post about Yos2 saying he's scum, and I all of a sudden warrant a post from ooba saying how I'm cheerleading the fight between them?
Interesting.
And he mentions itthreetimes in his post, lists me at the top of his suspects list, and voted me.(now bolded in ooba's post above)
Even more interesting.
I also think it's awesome that you found yourself agreeing with Faraday the most, even though all Faraday had said of any value at that point was this:ooba wrote:I find myself agreeing with Faraday the most in this game - Regarding RC, let him post some more and I'll give you a definite read on him.Faraday wrote:Sera - I don't see anything anti-town about Vezo's play thus far. What do you mean? I don't think outing his info was a bad thing, it's always good to be sure when cult mechanics are in play.Faraday wrote:Seraphim's town but not because he's replacing out.
Furclow's an idiot but I'm leaning town.
But... at the time he voted me, the only posts I had made were these.Faraday wrote:Aim: Reapercharliehe's scum.
ReaperCharlie wrote:ReaperCharlie wrote:
Now this I can sheep.ooba wrote:Aim: Lord Gurgi
General vibe of not wanting to step on anyone's toes and draw attention to himself.
And Lord Gurgi's (suspiciously quick) rebuttal does little to still my emotion, or to stay my hand.
Aim: Lord Gurgi
So, in essence, you (ooba) agreed with his (Faraday's) non-existent case the most out of any that existed at the time, and now you're grasping at straws for a reason to vote for me, even after Faraday unvoted?ReaperCharlie wrote:How convenient then, that you were there just in time to perform some neat and tidy damage control, before others got there to read it without your rebuttal there first.
Hmm.
(and if you want even more WIFOM, ... YOU were the one whose vote I sheeped the first time, which may have been why he considered me scummy in the first place...)
...
Please explain to me how your "case" and/or your vote makes any sense.
Just type the words "Aim: ooba" and we can all be happy.

Also, another question I'd like to throw your way, ooba.
Why did you killZWETlast night, and notme?
After ISOing you, I see you want both of us dead, but I wasby faryour top candidate.
I strongly suggest that people go back and read zwet's ISO to find out who he suspected.
I also strongly suggest that people go back and ISO ooba.Show"Take me to Pleasure Town!" "Look, the most Glorious Rainbow Ever!" "Do me on it!" -

I donno. I still think Ooba's claim and breadcrumb is strong evidence he's telling the truth about his role. (Not necessarily about his alignment, of course, but even if he was recruited last night after the kill I think we still don't want to lynch him.) RC's theory that it was a safeclaim doesn't seem that likely to me, and Vez's play today (both his Ooba vote and his Andy vote before that) looks opportunistic to me; I am really wondering if Vez was recruited last night.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie- Andrius

Why recruit him, even if nobody would see it coming?
It's still better to recruit someone who can actually play the game with half a brain. lmao

if these reasons are actually convincing then lol. c is the only one that has some sort of credence but I don't think 'no result = something bad' at all as per andy's pm and not getting a result is completely different than investigation immunity. ooba pushed a pretty bads case against me before in Of gods and men, he was right, but the facts surrounding it were way off so all that just seems like a lot of bullshit to me. does scum ooba frequently push bad cases and make thin cases then, because from what I've seen that's not true either.ReaperCharlie wrote: a) Town-ooba never makes cases this thin or terrible (for why it's terrible, see my reply below).
b) Look how wrong he is about me, zwet,ANDFurcolow. Town ooba is never this wrong.

i've no idea who I want to vote as of yet, but this ooba wagon makes no sense, his role use makes perfect sense and he's managed to explain what the role is and been confirmed by someone else, it's very unlikely he guessed so yeah I think he's town.break my heart- vezokpiraka

This was covered yesterday. I asked whether Furc played the same way as scum and town, and the answer was that he did. So it would be more accurate to say "Furc does this regardless of alignment", which makes his playstyle null and leaves us to look at who his actions benefited.Friend wrote:But when people tell you "Furc does this EVERY TIME HE'S TOWN" and you continue to push hard on the lynch wagon, I find that scummy.
Five minutes of reading would tell you it was Furc and dram at the end of the day, and Friend earlier on. Given that you think ooba was buddying up to Friend on D1, I take it you don't see him as a viable scum partner, so I don't think the zwet kill helps your ooba case at all.ReaperCharlie wrote:I strongly suggest that people go back and read zwet's ISO to find out who he suspected.
Also, "investigation immune" should not give a result of "you could not determine alignment". With a pro-town result to compare it to, that would be as good as a guilty.
Working my way through some ISOs, this game needs a counterwagon."You were doing well until everyone died."

Because he all-but-claimed to have an info role on day 1. No scum is going to want to go into endgame facing a claimed town info role, so they have to either recruit him or kill him before that point. Yes, his play day 1 was kind of iffy, but even a VI cop can win the game for the town singlehandedly if the scum just sit back and let him keep investigating.Andrius wrote: But why the hell would anyone recruit vezok?
(And, yes, i realize that logic also applies to you. You were also a logical recruitment taret. But you're the more obvious choice, and there are good reasons for the cult to avoid the obvious choice; for example, I don't know what would happen if both cults tried to recruit the same person the same night, but obviously at least one of them would fail).I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie- Yosarian2
