Thanks for (finally) posting, Faraday.
I agree with you about Yos2, I disagree with you about me, obv. lol
Yeah, we are f***ed if we don't hit recruiters, obv.
And I would totally go for an ooba/Yos2 wagon over you. Chronopie too, probably. But there just isn't much support.
Anyway, deadline is coming up... sooo.....

What do you think of xvart? He seems to me to get 'stuck in more' as town so to speak, and I don't really see him doing it here. In fairness it didn't take me that long to post, and I've had connection issues. I blame the V/la I had in part, it left me with a lot to catch up on. Shame I was looking forward to this too.break my heart- Andrius

I don't really understand why you're asking this? Before or after deadline, surely before would be prefferential in most cases but?Andrius wrote:Hey Faraday, you want to claimbeforeorafterdeadline?

1. You always have to ISO your predecessor to see if they've breadcrumbed, soft-claimed, out-right claimed, etc. Mine did. What do you think would've happened if I came in here with no understanding that people knew who/what I was?Faraday wrote:SingerSigner:
TheLonging I'll iso later but singer's been scummy enough in her own right.
I mentioned earlier, that I think iso'ing your predecessor as a townie seems unneccessary, it's certainly only something I do as scum, and yeah Amished tell variation here.
Ooba's claim being the same as hers makes her suspicious for some reason. Seriously? What do you think the chances are of Ooba managing to guess the role.
This makes NO FUCKING SENSE. Lying about what? I thought the case involved him being a recruiter, hence the failed investigation. None of this makes any sense and it looks like you're jumping on the bandwagon.Singersigner wrote:I don't think Chrono is the lynch for today. Depending on what happens in the meantime, he might be tomorrow, but I think Ooba's either lying scum, or he was recruited, so he should be the lynch for today.
Are you looking for an out tomorrow by saying the case wasn't the strongest? What particular parts of the case on me do you agree with, specifically Me=W, Yos2 and Prozac are the only ones to have posted reasoning (Iirc) so which of their posts convinced you? Especially considering :singersigner wrote:I agree with the case on Faraday. It may not be the strongest, but we're not going anywhere else. There's information to be gotten from every lynch, and I feel as though it's about time to get info from this one. If no one objects (formality), I'm ready to hammer.
To me indicated you disagreed with the wagon on me? Correct me if I'm wrong here though, as I guess it's kinda ambigious either way.singersigner wrote:What's this wagon on faraday?
Either way, if we've got a scum loose cannon it's probably here I'd bet.
2. My suspicions of Ooba were that he took the role of a flip and knew the chances of there being more than one was possible.
3. Like I said, I didn't think I could trust his claim (regardless of being recruited or not), but changed my mind.
4. I was literally just asking what the wagon was about...I wanted people to sum up why they found you scummy. I came in late, and could make my own assumptions, but I still had some catching up to do. Once people answered, I felt like I was comfortable enough to hop on the wagon.
5. Are you going to claim? I believe you're at L-1, and I don't mind hammering. And no, I won't go back on this tomorrow. There's information to be had from every lynch, and I don't think yours would be a mistake. You can quote on that...or someone else could. You'll be dead.- gandalf5166

There's less than 10 hours to deadline.. I don't see any town player waiting so long before claiming - townies should claim in advance so that the lynch can move on .. Scum would postpone claiming if they have a good fake claim prepared and hope it'll derail their lynch and get another person lynched ..- Andrius

If he flips town I guess that looks bad on me, but I have to say I get a certain satisfaction about Faraday being lynched.Faraday wrote:Aim: Reapercharliehe's scum.

Well, as soon as you made the scummy looking Zwet vote on day 1, I questioned you about it, if you remember. The day ended not long after that, and I never got a response, but as soon as you made that vote I did have a problem with it.Faraday wrote:
Yos2- Nothing I can really pin on him again, he's very capable of being logical and posting cases as scum, I don't really like that he never commented on my supposed scumminess day 1, it just seems odd that he never so much as mentioned me untill a wagon started on me (that may not be actually 100% true, but you get the idea.
You're right that I didn't really notice you at the start of day 1, but that's because you didn't really DO anything. Which is part of the reason I suspect you now. Basically, I think you were deliberately flying under the radar for most of day 1. And quite successfully, at that. I didn't notice you until the Zwet vote looked really scummy; when I went back and re-read you later, that was when I noticed that your play in general seemed anti-town.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie- Yosarian2

Oh, and btw, remember that if we get to deadline (midnight tonight, I believe) without a hammer, it's a no-lynch, and a no-lynch in a cult game would be INCREDIBLY stupid for the town. So, unless you REALLY think you can get someone else lynched in the next 6 hours or so, or unless you REALLY have something else you need to say, if you're not on the faraday wagon, you should be hammering, pretty much right now. Let's not screw this up.
(And with the deadline set to "midnight tonight", I'm really doubting Gandalf's sincerity with his "I'll hammer tomorrow, oh by the way I didn't check to see when the deadline is" post; it would have taken him less time to check the first mod post and see when the deadline is then it did to type out that he didn't know when the deadline is. If faraday's scum, Galdalf's his buddy.)I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie- Andrius

Posting now. Will do so in pieces in case the thread gets locked. Sorry in advance for multiposting.
I should have said "defending your slot" and not "defending vezok." Despite replacing in, you've basically said day one was non sense and nothing really happened day two. You have yet to really take any stands. And this post itself is sort of a defense of your spot, even though it isn't necessary.Robocopter87, 1731 wrote:You really think I'm going to defend Vezok?
Now Yos2,
Lets try something here.
Pretend you are Vezok replacement. Whether town or scum. Do you think that you could actually make a legit defense for them?
My thoughts on Vezok's play this game? SUCKS.
Specifically why?Chronopie, 1743 wrote:Call it gut. More based on his D1 play.

I couldn't agree more, which is exactly why I've been struggling with this whole don't lynch likely recruits. I just have this bad feeling that we're going to be lynching town until the cults are too big to manage. I'm in complete agreement that it should be considered to lynch scummy people and if they are the recruiter, awesome; and if a recruit; not bad. Lynching a recruit also gives us information to track backwards and analyze who might have recruited him/her and how their reads might have changed (either obvious or subtly).Faraday, 1746 wrote:Also this whole LYNCH A RECRUITER thing is fine if you can fucking well find one, however if you refuse to lynch someone cos they're more likely to be a recruit and don't catch the leader then the town is well and truly fucked. Lynch whoever's scummy and hope for the best, sure you can see who's more likely but apart from that.

I wouldn't say I'm there for you, because I'm pretty ambivalent about your lynch. I think there are better lynch targets out there and I don't particularly think you've been as scummy as others (maybe not engaged). I also am not sure I buy into this whole "lynch the recruiter" as I said a few minutes ago. And if I was a recruiter, WIFOM aside, I'd like to think I'm decent enough of a player that I wouldn't be quite so obvious in my interactions with someone I recruited.Faraday, 1745 wrote:Xvart- Xvart's play has been okay I guess, but I've modded him 3 times now, twice as town and once as scum and he looks so much like his scum self here after a re-read in iso. Total gut feel here, but usually when he's town I can spot him quite quickly (see lay of leithian) but here he's just there for me and it's worrying. He's also pretty much ignored my bandwagon for the most part, and there's something about his interactions with Yos2 that I don't like either. I think there's a good chance he's a recruiter who recruited Yos2.
I don't expect to get an answer to this since the deadline is looming and Faraday has already been lynched, but I don't know what you mean by "stuck in more." I'll ask after game but I don't know how to explain this behavioral change (if there legitimately is one).Faraday, 1751 wrote:What do you think of xvart?
