I just waded through 10 pages of posts, reading through every single one. Took me close to three hours. Out of those posts, how many did I actually want to comment on? 5. Out of 250.hitogoroshi wrote:In a giant game like this, if too many people spam the thread people will ragequit just looking at the page number.
I'll have to remember this expression, made me laugh. And I agree, the last thing we need is a spamfest. Out of this argument, what did I learn? Only that Fate and Benmage probably aren't both cult. I mean, there's distancing, and then there's...Furcolow wrote:@Fate/Benmage: Can you all put your dicks away, or do I need to get a ruler?
Oh, and while I can't say that Furcolow would be absolutely confirmed as town, with all those mistakes regarding his ward, my hat's off to him if he faked
Your reasoning fails in one thing: participating in a ritual is a free action. Unless the cult is somehow dysfunctional, there is nothing to stop them all from participating in the ritual, and doing something else the same night.Furcolow wrote:Where they would have to have 1/7 ressing fate, assuming fate is even cult, then that would leave them to either pick someone to kill who didn't claim they heard noise (otherwise they are likely to be ressed and require 5/7 to go one up on the res via ritual), or they will only have 1 person crafting fetishes, and that one person can only make 2 or gain an insanity which hurts cult that way as well.
I have no idea. Their row went above and beyond normal distancing, I can't believe they'd both be cult. If I had to choose, Benmage is the one who looks more odd. His line of thought has been fairly incomprehensible from his first post. Trouble is, his play would be equally stupid as town and as scum, so we'll see.Furcolow wrote:I would like all investigators to read my post #180, especially MoI, and address it/take a stance on whether or not benmage should kill fate.
If the only way to stop another spamfest from happening is to kill one of them, then I guess one will have to go.
As was pointed out, chain warding doesn't work. If you were warded, your own ward will fail. There is a similar caveat in resuscitating, in that you can't be resuscitated if you resuscitate someone. Also, rob grave is a free action, so anyone can do it in addition to something else.rewq455 wrote:Also, if we ward in circles, as in A wards B, B wards C, C wards A, we can tell who is doing something at night besides warding if the person they are supposed to be warding is killed. This should eliminate the scums night kill. The only flaw with this plan is that we would not have grave robbers, so we would not know the faction of people being killed.
