Am I reading right that nobody besides ooba and ss mentioned the double vote ability for loose cannons? Might also explain why TheLonging's apparent belief that he had a daykill seemed inconsistent with the kind of PM I'd expect a double-voter/night vig to get.

The reason Im not voting you just now is that I think its worth going through a few others (particularly BBM/ani) first. My point wasn't that it wasn't you or RC, it was that I was thinking one of ooba, singersigner, Chrono and Robo was lying about their role.

On that front, I'm pretty sure it's not ooba or singersigner based on my post above. Chrono is looking better now that the PM thing has been cleared up, and my suspicion of Robo is based on links to Seraphim/M=W, which might make him a bad lynch for today anyway.

Ok, so... JUST NOW went back and read my night action result PMs from Flay, and I am going to post summaries of the flavor for all you guys:

My flavor about Faraday on Night 0 (first night) was somebody indistinctly looming outside his room, on guard, so I didn't stick around to try to find out. My guess is, he was bodyguarded that night, which would perfectly explain the flavor. Apparently the bodyguards in this game are flavor-fueled roleblockers. Which makes sense.

Actually, I had totally forgotten about the ooba investigations. Since we now know that people are explicitly told if they are roleblocked, that's not a valid explanation. We're back to the ooba recruiter/SS recruited theory from D2. RC WINS. Also, I'm believing Yos simply because it doesn't make that much of a difference. Therefore, there's no reason for him to lie. Maybe his cult is larger than he says. That just means town has already lost, in which case we don't care anymore.

Let me start by saying that I think your one of the better newbie's on the circuit at the moment, I enjoy modding with you and I have enjoyed playing with you and I hope you hang around for a while. However...

Why are you being completely retarded at the moment?

I mean yes, ooba doesn't look good and for all intents and purposes has probably been recruited but put it this way, he's claimed a kill, (zwet), from what we have gathered the role is most likely a vig/double vote one shot role, singer showed us the double vote. So he isn't a recruiter. Your also taking the word of a "enforcer" who we have no evidence to suggest he hasn't been recruited. As I say Robo claimed Day 3, so it is likely his last post is bullshit and is now recruited. However Andy, will still be town, as up until then Robo has protected him. RC hasn't had this luxury, his targets have been somewhere between iffy and terrible, and you want me to suspect, as one of my top 3 candidates that you think ooba is the best place for your vote? I think you are either seriously not thinking or your giving away one of your cult buddies.

I don't like it simply because in a game where the flavor dictates to Andrius that he knocks somebody out and then searches their room, the same would also be true that the mafia might just kill a guy, and search their room, learning exactly what they were capable of. Not to mention there is probably a rolecop or two floating around in the scumcults. Obviously thats not very far-fetched considering the mechanics we've experienced thus far (that the don's sons must recruit their power roles, just like in The Godfather Part II video game or some other mafia video game).

ooba: have you asked the mod if your doublevotes will show up in the vote count? If so, I am gonna need more than just a backed claim to prove that you're not scum. and that seems like something you'd ask the mod, as a smart player playing a vig/doublevoter.

singersigner: did it not occur to you that my first paragraph might hold true and ooba might still be scum, who saw both an opportunity to reinforce a fakeclaim AND draw out an unwitting counter-claim?

Remember, there were no deaths on Night 0. I wouldn't put it past Flay to give the don's sons both a RECRUIT power and a ROLECOP power (so they could know who to recruit for the next night, if they wanted). ooba could easily have been setting up a falseclaim for himself with that post about TheLonging, if he'd rolecopped any of the loose cannons on Night 0. Once zwet flipped, it would have been the perfect time to lay the claim, and reveal the breadcrumb only AFTER drawing out a counter-claim from another pro-town person.

This is all too fishy.

So I'm thinking about the possible causes that Andrius would get that result on ooba. It has to be either:
- it's a product of Andrius' role.
- it's an effect of ooba's role.
- it's an effect of a factional action (block, etc).

How many people believe that by Night 1, when there have been 4 chances to recruit Yos2, that he hasn't been recruited by now? Anyone?

My result on ooba doesn't come from an excess "product of my role" unless its a mod note or sanity issue (like the recruiting doesn't screw with me enough .

I see what you're trying to say, RC, in regards to Yosarin2 being the best player here, but

If I were scum I'd want the Loose Cannon over a good player any day.

So you're saying the "noise" is just something that makes you run away..

- You might be a role which cannot investigate power roles which use their abilities that day .. People go out of their houses .. You come back to beat out info out of them but it's too late in the night to get a proper investigation ..
- You were not roleblocked N0 but were roleblocked yesterday .. Using the word "noise" again was just Flay's way of keeping it ambiguous so that you cannot say for sure that you were roleblocked ..

Ooba tries to explain why the flavor was the same for the "noise" for Andy on both N1 and N2, but that Andy was only blocked ONE of those nights.

This makes very little sense even at this point of the game, but it now makes ZERO sense because we know that:
-Roleblock flavor includes prostitutes. There is nothing of the kind evident here.
-Andrius' ISO #198 shows that he is able to hear "THE NOISE" and STILL get a successful investigation on Lord Gurgi.

So, to bring it back to the three possibilities:
