Greetings all,

As noted above I (and my awesome beard) are replacing Nikanor (whose beard is, at best, acceptable). When I replace in I read the thread and will post up vague walls of commentary text. This I feel is helpful as it will 1. help establish your attitude towards me as a player and 2. will possibly remind you of something interesting that already happened.

I do promise you that this slot will never again need replacement. I'll also promise superior scumhuntng, but find that's harder to ensure. I seem to average about 7-10 pages each catching up session, so probably will manage to be caught up by the weekend sometime.

Request denied. There has not been a significant amount of time with an empty player slot that would even come close to justifying a need for a DL extension.

Red, so after this back and forth I finally get to the real reasoning of your case on me. You think I was bussing, I don't know why you didn't just say that in the first place. I'm not going to sit here and say what I would and wouldn't do as scum in that situation because it is just all WIFOM and I do have a heavy bussing past as scum.

I will say that you built your suspicion on me in a very round about way. First the IAI exchange was scummy, then it wasn't. Then my town reads were scummy and now they aren't. You rolled out a big explanation for why you think I am scummy over several posts when you could have just cut the fat and been much more direct. Your insistence that you read my ISO but missed posts and having to back away from points later just stinks of you padding your case on me.

To me it looks like hinky/scummy can be interchanged, especially with the way you used it. Basically a way for you to call something scummy and then being able to back away from it while holding your hands up all innocent like.

I clicked in the game and saw Thor replaced in and said hello because Thor is great.
I then went back to my last post and read what I had missed since I was last here. Like I do every day.
I then processed said information into a postable format for your reading pleasure, or displeasure. Whatever floats your boat.
This was followed by me clicking on submit and said post being sent though the internet tubes to the thread.

There is probably more I should respond to but I've been tied up in other games since yesterday and I wanted to get a few thoughts down before this game grew much.

@jason...can you form an opinion without Sotty? What do you do in games she isn't in with you? Seriously.

2. See 1. As for why RC flipping town would implicate you...I think you stand a good chance at being scum, but based on my RC ISO I do not think both of you are. So if RC was town it would not eliminate my read on you whereas if he flipped scum, IMO it would clear you.

Ugh... this doesn't answer my question. I don't understand the premise you have formed based on “it's you or Red” From what I have seen of your case on me, it looks like we are both independently scummy of the other. So this hardline stance just looks poor and is a possibility of you lining up lynches.

I've put the both of you into my top four so you could say I've lined up at leasst 4 lynches in my mind. However...I've also said I don't think you and RC are both scum so if Red (or you) was the lynch today and turned out to be scum I would move off my suspicions of you (or Red). That's not exactly lining them up....is it?

As to your point four I suppose that's fair enough. If enough people feel this way I can replace out. I don't play the game to cheat but I am not willing to comprise the game just by being here. For the record I felt Nikanor bringing that up in the first place as scummy. There was no need to talk about that but he went out of his way to do so. I think it was an attempt to gain some town cred to suggest he had no idea about the scum day talking. He is more than smart enough to lay that kind of ground work.

I do not think Nik bringing up the scum talk (or not) at night was scummy. He was bringing it up as a possible balancing move by the mod because of the way the game was set up (apparently in such a way that would seem to favor town iirc?). As for my point four....I have absolutely no problem with you being in the game and in fact I prefer you in it until you are lynched (since atm I think you are scum)

@Red...I'm just happy to form cases on the people I suspect. I'm not going to justify not having a scum read on someone. I did not see anything w/ Percy that made me think...'Hmmm...that's scummy.' There are four other people that are doing that for me and that's enough to keep me busy atm.

Just looked at the votes, and unless I missed something, there has only been 2 new votes since Sunday morning, both by Fitz.

I think it is safe to say many of us feel strongly about our votes and aren't likely to move them except to ensure a lynch.

Off topic filler, Newbie 1017 might be my best game yet. Figured out the first scum by post 52 (officially called him out/voted for him in 91). Finally lynched him Day 3 despite my vote being on him for most of D1/D2 (and me getting NK'd N2). But the remaining newbies finally listened to me and off'd him D3, and things are looking good for another townie win for me. Undefeated townie record still intact...

Furc, I don't see the case on RC. In fact he's becoming more and more of a town read.

Percy has 6 votes, L-2...RC has 3, L-5....with the deadline this close the logical conclusion is to lynch Percy. Stop fighting the system, prove you aren't the sites newest biggest VI and vote Percy.
