Alright, since this is how its going down today lets get this out there:

Team Chumbawumba:
Benmage
Xvart

Town (TM):
Hitorogoshi
VP Baltar
Seacore
Trilobite
Wraith
Iceerint

Remainder (In descending order):
AV
Triglav
VV
Feysal
Andrius
kunkstar7
(Team Nothing): Baby Spice/Nico/nopoint/tnm
Plum

So, heed the following things when you get my flip in like 4 days:

Team Chumbawumba needs to get put on permanent grave detail asap. They've got a proven track record now of bad decisions and all of the "Me, murder? NEVER" can eat it - but, as it sits, do not DO NOT DOOO NOOT murder/lynch them. The fact I've got to SAY that says something for the state of affairs but hey.

Team Town? Yea, they're town. I'm supremely confident in that.

Of the remainder? Team Nothing has 2 scum in it at least. Of the remainder? Yea, start watching there when the murders happen.

AV almost is TOWN but I still cant shake my irritation.

Plum, if there was a chance in hell anyone would listen to me, would be a good lynch. AS IT SITS once you see me flip with 4 insanities and start going "Ohh shit, maybe he WAS telling the truth" don't be afraid to be a broseph and take the knife up in my memory.

Speaking of knives, that time is coming soon when you better get them sharpened and actually try to hit real targets. Its probably for the best I'm dying now because the temptation to go murderer is becoming SERIOUS BUSINESS (and, the fact I've looked at it and really thought about it last night but didn't because there'd be no chance of it happening for ME not in general).

So, get everyone to do the little dance, get the post up, lynch me and then be SUPER SURPRISED tomorrow when you dont get to rob any graves but Furc's and then, once you get my damn flip, come back and repost this and go "ohhhh".
Show
I always lynch scum... sometimes they're just not mafia. :P

Okay, lets have a look at what both Wraith and Kunk did and see whether it fucked anything up. I don't think it did, but I want to be thorough.

They are both cleared of Paranoia, since they've both voted for a bunch of people who haven't voted for them, after I did vote for them. And they've done it more than twice, which would have meant Modkill.
They are both cleared of Sadism, since they've both voted for people who were not at L-2, and they did it more than twice, so they'd be modkilled.
They are
NOT
cleared of distraction, since they've returned to someone they previously voted for only once, which means an insanity infraction, but not a modkill.

So both Wraith and Kunk need to Vote Benmage, unvote, vote spyrex. Then we'll know for certain.

Actually, I just checked the wording
If a player would receive a second Insanity Infraction PM for the same offence, or a third for any reason, instead they will be modkilled.
That is vague on whether a second Insanity Infraction for the same offence will cause the modkill. Since it all happens in the same post, it might just come in the one PM...
I doubt the mod will clarify this, which is fair enough.
Still, it's worth doing.

SPYREX!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Pay attention people! Voting for everybody in the game was just for me, so we could adequately test for Paranoia. Stop voting for everybody and just do the Hito/Benmage votes!!!!

Yes, thank you.

I've just realised I can't test Hito and Benmage... I'll think of it and see if I can fix this tomorrow. BUt I think we can afford to leave out Hito and Benmage today.

Simply, everyone vote for the person below them alphabetically, then unvote.
Then after everyone has vote, do the same for the person above them

Baby spice.

No.

The instruction was to vote for Benmage and Hito, but whatever.

But people will vote for the same two people, This will ensure that paranoia is checked. For today anyway, by tomorrow I will have a better way to test it that won't leave out two people.

Okay, I've sorted it, I know how to run it tomorrow so that everybody can be tested. But I won't post it because it won't work now and it'll confuse everything else.\

Hito, in your instruction kit, can you please instruct nobody to vote until we do the insanity testing.

Sorry, I just took the voting list from the post above, and assumed it was right because you seemed to say it was.

Thats cool, it's not a big deal, since it still covers all the bases.

What I was jumping in to shake my head at was your "vote for the person below you and then above you" business. That won't work. But don't worry, I have my plan.

Trilobite wrote: You had to commune because of obbession.
You picked VP because you didn't want to target someone who was more insane than you just to get rid of the books?
You then picked solist so you could rid yourself of the books?

This whole thing sounds ass backwards to me. You could have at least tried to commune someone suspious looking with the chance of dropping the books that way.
Yeah. I didn't want to waste books on Benmage, just for the sake of getting rid of them. If I'm going to toss them then I could at least provide some more information on a townie-typed person. I just finished a game where the really good player made it to LyLo only to-you guessed it- not actually be town! So I figured I could at least see if he was telling the truth on that front.
Trilo wrote: Hi. We robbed Furpants like the roster dictated.
Then... :? Oh. Seacore robbed with SpyreX.
Sorry about that.

As for my low activity level, its pretty much across the board, tbh. I recently put in alot of time to rereading an entire game, and let this one and PYP fall by the way-side. But whatever. I'll get better.

So I clarified the Obsession thing with Percy.
I'll be Communing Benmage tonight, because Solist doesn't allow removal of Obsession; I must get the books destroyed, which sets me back even further in time and insanities. But I'll be rid of the vile book (Harry Potter 2, anyone? ;)) soon enough. Unless you WANT me to sit here and take an insanity a night trying to find people more insane than me. :P

Seacore, are we doing the voting-insanity testing now, or..?

I'm also going to claim LA for awhile; need to pull my grades up significantly and this is finals, so.

Sigh, the big list was for a single person (this time: Me) to do, so that Paranoia could be sufficiently tested.

This two person double vote proves you don't have paranoia (because otherwise you could only vote for me), that you don't have sadism (because neither of those two people are at L-2) and that you don't have distraction, (because you can revote both of them)

I have just though, is anyone keeping track of voting records external to the game? I started with a spreadsheet, but let it fall by the wayside. I mean, this does screw with vote-position analysis to an extent, right? >_<"

I've been keeping record of both claims and votes, and I'm ignoring these tests entirely. As far as I'm concerned, Percy could do the same, having to record votes that were immediately revoked must be tedious.

We have to make sure scum don't sneakily slip a hammer vote onto Spy while we're testing these insanities before we have our Investigator's Reference and grave-rob plan ready.

ANYONE WHO ISN'T VOTING SPYREX CURRENTLY: do not end your test with a vote!

I don't have a ton of time right now, but I figured I would throw this out there for now so we can speed this process along.

@TNM - I will respond to your post in full later, but I think the problem is that I see an absence of Furpants liking Spyrex enough to rezz him (not that he outwardly called him scummy, but just didn't say anything all that positive about him) and you see an absence of Furpants hating him (not that he outwardly called him town, but just didn't say anything all that negative about him). I personally think that a player is much more likely to rezz a town read than a null read. That's basically where I'm coming from.

\o. Aye

Triglav: your point about deadFurc is valid, but my worry was less about whether or not we'd catch scum with it (we would) but that we'd go into night with no clear grave-rob plan. A bad thing that we can avoid by letting scum know that we'll lynch them if they try it.
