Basically I was really angry the arkons killed a bunch of my fellow humans in an ambush and as a result I plan to take the law in to my own hands to, and I'm paraphrasing here, fuck their shit up.
There's also some background stuff about me being a good soldier and whatnot.

To flesh it out more I am an exceptional soldier. This has lead me to feel superior to my superiors who I think are a bit weak-willed. The ambush by the arkons is the final straw and as a result I decide to go outside the chain of command and deliver my own justice.

I can kill every night with a military flavor, which I am allowed to suggest.

I was actually more suspicious of Slaxx/chess until you defended him - if you guys are buddies I don't think you'd bother, and if you're not buddies the VI meta awareness explains a lot of the jitteriness I'm getting from the slot. Also I'm a little nervous of AGM's slide onto chess because 3/4ths of the case he noted is all pretty derpy stuff that I would expect scum to lie about rather than admit as chess has done and seeing it typed out like that made me reassess my own chessscum read.

@Huck - his role makes sense to me as far as game balance and PR spread goes.

1 tracker/investigative type
2 unconfirmed recruiting neighbors

Pretty weak town for the number of players.

Add in a role that can protect itself and a Vig and it looks like a solid town.

Also - in going back to look at my win condition (and this is slightly embarrassing - but it's shameful for all of town too) my win condition involves removing Arkons, not threats to humanity. So, ThAd as Arkon with extra kill ability? Don't buy it. And now ThAd isn't 3rd party (or if he is he's 3rd party I'm all for, because I can still win and so can he as long as we kill the Arkons first - huzzah for my side)

More or less than "he's so stupidly scummy he has to be scum"? If the tells you're picking up say stupid, than they don't say scum or town. I seriously don't see scum as very likely to come into a game, announce they read five pages, and then proudly state they don't see a need to read more. If we really have an issue with him we can vig him, but I frankly think there are better lynches to make.

Could you expand on the Slaxx = scummy part of your case.
Also please address how you think chess' postings are really helping him if he's scum.

Here's the deal:
Imagine you were a scum neighbor.
How would you act in thread?
Would you distance yourself from your partner... Knowing they were town?
Would you ignore them?

I think neither.
I think you would see it as a perfect chance to buddy up with them... Safely.
If someone called you out on it, eventually you could admit that you WERE in fact linked.
So I think scum definately doesnt ignore their partner. They try to, as subtly as possible, LINK themselves to the town via the partnership.

Town, on the other hand, truly has no knowledge of their partner's alignment. Thus they would play with the natural wariness any townie would have. They may crumb the connection.. But not just implicitly trust the person... And definitely not buddy up.
