We don't need cases. Cases at this point in the game are bad. What we need is big-picture process of elimination.

For the moment, Furry and camn are also town. I think we can all agree on this.

Magna's interactions with chesskid mean chess-scum --> magna scum. chess-town --> magna probtown.

You are an unknown wildcard.

Therefore, the BEST plan is to lynch chesskid. However, if we cannot lynch chesskid, you will suffice as an alternative.

Also, your Magna vote is cute, but suboptimal. If you want to determine if Magna is scum or not, lynching chesskid is the proper route.

My biggest crossroads here is that there arent many people that look like they can be partners at this point in the game, but I would expect more than one scum left alive so am grappling with that.

I would be willing to lynch from a chess/Thor/AGM pool though, would expect all remaining scum in that one.

I just read this game as five scum. I dont think the HH lynch would have gone down that easily or the vig been kept alive if there were only two scum alive at that point.

Because he has 1) been defending chesskid, despite the fact that chesskid is scummier than I am and the optimal lynch for today and 2) went absolutely insane when I suggested the remote possibility of him being scum (go see the whole back and forth where I was like, "I have a gut feeling MoI could be scum, vote chesskid," and he responded with, "OMG YOU ARE PUSHING MY LYNCH, DIE SCUM DIE." This was magnified even more when the possibility of a MoI/chesskid team was suggested. He is being excessively paranoid, especially surrounding the whole chesskid debacle.

Now...why would MoI care about keeping chesskid alive? Because if MoI and chesskid are the team, if chesskid dies, MoI will run out of NK targets. His options will be either 1) the obvtown players who think he's town, which leaves him alive with people like you and me who think he is scum, or 2) the scummier looking players (you and me), which will leave him alive with Furry and camn and they will be like "wtf is this nonsense, I guess MoI was scum after all." MoI HAS TO WIN at the critical mass of 2 town, 2 scum. He cannot go into 3 player lylo.

That's all just a theory ... but if chesskid flips scum, the key to the theory is unlocked. And, to top it off, chesskid is a really nice lynch anyway, so there's no reason not to go that route and reap the benefits of the extra data.

And if chesskid flips town, then MoI hasn't really done anything that suspicious after all, and we can just go back to reading him as probtown ... because minus the whole recent debacle, he's been pretty town.

The thing for me is that Chess feels like a coinflip - his playstyle is too terrible to get much of a clear read out of, and some of his early stuff did look potential town (I don't foresee many scum players wanting to come in with that 'I read 5 pages, I am awesome, here's my reads' claptrap). I also agree MoI's reaction to you is odd, but I don't see his OMG YOU ARE PUSHING MY LYNCH reaction to be intrinsically tied into Chess, I think it's more telling without that presumption, quite frankly.

you're right that it's not INSICALLY tied, but I feel like if chess is town, then MoI would have less of a reason to make a bid scene and oppose the chess lynch.

and yeah, chess is hard to read. That's what makes him a good lynch at this juncture.

@AGM - Yeah, but MoI is functionally the only one defending me as well - and though I generally support his logic for that defense I found it interesting coming at a time when i was so amped up as a suspect and his reasons were, basically, slim.

What do you think of the Chess 5 pages read tell I'm selling - do you see Chesscum doing that?

I think there is no discernible difference between chess' play as town or as scum. It is terribly scummy either way.

The sad thing, if he is town., is that if it comes down to Lylo.. he is almost assuredly the lynch over players like Furry, CES, MoI, Myself... so god help the town if one of those is the final scum.

For that reason, I also support an early Chess lynch.. a NON-lylo lynch, that is. If we have to go that far. Which we dont, since Thor is scum.

I confused, a little behind and then lost interest in the game for the most part about 20 pages ago. Part of it may be needing to log on and off and on again to make one post, but in the interest of flavor im going to stay around on this account.

I think the order chess/thor/AGM is better then what we are doing, but will hammer tonight since deadline is tomorrow. Will remain on chess to leave that as the possibility though until about ten hours from now.
