Impressions as of page 2; the wagon on Fate.user was quite surprising. That Fate.user decided to join in was equally surprising. Not much stands out as of this point, but, I must point out I did enjoy the pun in Beefster.user's signature.

The fact that SB had to PM the mod to use the kill is very suspicious to me. Day-vigs generally post in-thread whereas it seems more likely that a mafia assassin or mafia day poisoner would have to PM the mod in the interest of allowing that player to keep their kill private if they wanted to. Does no one else see it this way? I also don't know why he would say he was going to vig fate and then change it at the last minute. The 'apply pressure' excuse is lame as all hell, why not just threaten? Why go so far as to say you've basically decided and then back out with no (visible) input? It's highly suspicious to me.

Lastly, stop pulling the "I wouldn't draw attention to myself if I were the assassin" defense. It's clearly WIFOM and I've seen assassin's claim dayvigs before. In fact, they pretty much have to in order to use their role. That defense does absolutely nothing to convince me that you're town over scum, in fact, it does quite the opposite seeing as you can't seem to defend your actions reasonably.

@tmh - you're voting Scott because he had to PM to shoot? I mean, the PM clearly worked. Shado flavor was shooting, not poisoning or anything. What would make you think that's possibly a good idea for the vote? Not that I disagree with the end result, but how you got there baffles me.

I believe that Parama is a competent enough moderator to know that such a glaring difference between similar roles would most likely break the game.

I think the role is designed for the scum to post their kill in-thread and pretend that's what did it while PM'ing the mod behind the scenes. I think scott got sloppy about it.
