Is it just me or is the site going much slower in the past couple days?

It's been lightning quick since the phpBB3 move, up until now.

My internet in general has. I couldn't get on MS for the majority of the day though 'Page is Unavailable'.

Pretty sure we're slower right now because the site architecture is already on the new server, but the database is still on the old. So considering we're going cross-country every time you load a page, I'm impressed we're loading at

all

I haven't heard anything yet, so I assume there has been some further delay (the previous rescheduling was due to an illness, so perhaps related?). I'll let you know when I have more information, I've been out of town for the weekend and just got home.

Rather than one extended downtime, we may instead have several shorter maintenance windows. Our host is trying to find a time to move us.

Moot now, because I'm told by Daniel that we're moved. Based on the site speed, I'd say we're back to full capacity, on a stronger server.
