I read some of the dead QT. Jason really wasn't out of line; I barely paid attention to the fact that he got a concussion, though I wish him well.

My thoughts on the balance:

It was perfect...

except for one thing. SensFan should NEVER have been a two-shot sensor. He used to to completely break the game open and it overpowered town immensely. He knew how to work his claim and he used it to basically guarantee town the win. A one-shot sensor would have actually been amazing to the setup but I think the town power went overboard.

Faith Healers and Priests? Ehhhhhhhhhh. I guess. But I doubt too many people will like the random aspect, and priests are just...man, I don't even know, what are the general opinion on them?

Would the person who was bussed and the people who targeted the people being bussed know that they were switched?

That is all.

Actually, the Simpson bulletproof crumbing and the Sensor hits gelled so well that I think scum didn't even stand a chance, so I wonder what your thoughts were when you guys created the setup. It was almost there, but not quite.

It's like taking one of the game's most powerful tools (lynch analysis), making it 100% accurate and Mod Confirmed, and just picking off the scum. I think we had a decent shot to win if you just take out the sensor.

Or made him 1 shot...which would have been perfect. Maybe a 2 shot bus driver, 1 shot sensor. Town was definitely overpowered in this case; shame, too, since it was a very minor problem.

Reading more into the dead QT:

Sorry if I came across as a jerk to some players (mainly directed towards Fonz), I play very aggressively when I'm pretty much immune, so I used it to play and squeeze as much info as I could out of everyone and came across as antagonistic.

Also I realize I was total shit this game. It was my first game back (after long absence) I played from the beginning and figured changing my play mid game would prolly get me lynched quicker than my failing. Thought the flu and emergencies were legit - I shall not be so chronic of a lurker from now on...hopefully...lol. I get skeert when I get pressured and run away D:

DH, part of the problem was that the split of scum on the two wagons was just so extreme. Still, I think a one-shot, with its potential to EITHER find five scum on tragedy, OR confirm most people on mist (assuming you ever let me lynch ribwich ) would have worked fine. I'd probably have scrapped the bulletproof, given Marge as a fakeclaim, and made Maggie a one-shot vig, I think. Better setup, better flavor fit.

As for your play DH, well, it was certainly better than one of the VIs getting BP. My problem, I think, was mostly that I felt you were trying to intimidate me, and I was in no mood to back down because I was convinced what I was doing was in the best interests of the town. And the 'Can't commit to a read' thing really felt like a deliberate attempt to provoke me rather than trying to understand what I was actually saying (it's not a scumtell even if it were true, incidentally).

As for the Jason point, I still think it's unethical to use an unrelated real life problem or tragedy as an excuse for something that actually happened because you were scum. But we've done this to death in the QT, so let's not have it spill over here (I might resurrect the MD thread on the subject, actually, now the game's done).

The sensor did enough damage to the scumteam with just one shot I think. I dunno how much more info the 2nd shot actually gave.

Without that, they were probably suited to rolling the town the way things were going.
