Reading through the rest of the comments, some responses:

Yup. My idea, and totally worth it. We wanted to have Andrius false claim being passed a fetish. We wanted to give the impression that we'd passed three fetishes to three townies, so we could only actually pass two fetishes. The third fetish we could pass with the same action went to Fate. Seeing how people thought Fate was cult when he flipped with that insanity was highly amusing.

Some people decided, despite not understanding the rules, to ignore the advice of those who did. This allowed scum to hide, in my opinion, and also wasted our time mislynching some of them.

I find that players going against the advice of people who understood the rules was a significant factor in how the town survived. Particularly Nicodemus choosing to resuscitate you. I also find it quite ironic that many times I was correcting you and other townies on some rules. Only sometimes when it suited us to have the town head off the wrong way I stayed silent.

My favorite bit may have been counterclaiming the Wickedestjr res. Some people actually thought I was confirmed town if I would be communed, and I was not going to correct them on that notion. No one ever thought that I would claim to be insane and bloody without actually being either.

But there was definitely a lack of engagement in even trying to understand them from several slots.

About the time I accused/voted VP I was tossing the idea around in my head that the most active/engaged people in the game were probably Cult because they were being stimulated by each other, making plans, setting things up, and having to put things in motion. I never said anything since it seemed a little ridiculous and based on my sample size of two (me for not engaged and VP who I thought was Cult) and I certainly didn't want to undermine my accusations on VP by being associated with some left field conspiracy theory.

VP had me fooled for at least half of the game, even getting in my good graces for a while to get a rez from me. I also remembered him playing as a sly businessman who sold me Andy Town(I don't think I ever voted for Andy at all this game). Andy gets some lurve because he totally tricked me(but not enough to trick others, apparently.). Triglav's lurking was some excellent strategic(intentional or not) lurking. Feysal's scumQT posts are godly. You're now on my scumbuddy-wannabe list.

I think that you guys were just PoE'd into oblivion after Seacore's death.

As for Town, it's finally over! The level of organization we had was awesome. It was easy to get good feels from most of you, which I suppose you guys felt from each other too. I liked Trilobite's play here, their reads were pretty darn good. hito's proactivity to organization I think eventually sealed us the win, which was soon carried by Seacore.

While I wanted to be cult this game(I <3 daytalking scumQT's. I like the honor among thieves that goes along with it.), it's hard to imagine going against most of you. @.@.

Hi everyone!

Wow, it's finally done. I had a *lot* of fun writing and modding this game. Congratulations to the Investigators, who came back from behind to win! (Almost) everyone in this game should be proud of their performance, also.

I'm currently not in Sydney, and away from my notes. I will be compiling everything and posting an enormous post this weekend. This will include:

-Who did what, when
-Achievements! for particular players who did things I think are noteworthy, possibly noms
-My own take on the setup; what worked, and what didn't
-My own take on the gameplay; what worked, and what didn't
-A few insights into the game of mafia as a whole that I have had since running these games, edition III in particular

I have been following the game but not so closely. I have to admit, I thought Triglav was town in their lynch xD mainly becuz they were confirming me.
I wish I had the time to continue this game tho. I'd totally nail the scummy cults =P

To break this down even further, you set your stall out pretty early saying you only vote with cases. That's fine, but whenever someone pressured you about not voting or taking so long to vote, you fell back on this excuse on at least three different occasions. The only time you went against your claimed and displayed behavior was when you voted Baby Spice. Sure it might have been late at night, and sure you were probably tired.... BUT you

Baby was scum so just dumping your vote there before making a case was okay because you already knew you were right so justification could come later.

You can say it was timezones all you like, but you could have easily made that post and then said, "oh I'll look at Baby tomorrow" and then not vote. There was a reason you didn't and if you can't see why that looks like bussing even now, I don't know what to say to you.

Regarding Baby Spice, what was a scum move from me was not voting Baby Spice and pushing for her lynch on day one. I think I was the only one who spotted just how bad her ward claim of MoI reeked of scum, and I spent that day sitting on it, hoping no one else would see it.

Though I didn't realise it at the time, that was my big mistake. I honestly expected more warding. Turned out I was wrong.

The rest was mostly deliberate, especially after being stalked and no-one hitting any of the other wards we laid out.

I completely apologize for my play on days 3 through 6. The game was just too long for me to want to catch up on (Note to self: never replace into a game that is 70 pages long and has one of {fate, benmage, andrius} in it), and I was basically just biding my time until I could be a useful body to murder. After I rezzed Seacore though, I knew I had to step it up, and I hope I was looking a bit more town as the days went on.

Well, it didn't make much sense logically. However, 1) we knew someone went rogue murderer from the claims 2) you were fighting just as hard as me to keep kunkstar7 alive (the stalk victim). Based on those things, it really seemed like you could have been the murderer even though it didn't make any sense to go murderer at that point.

VPB, there was one case for Ben to go murderer. If he tripped the murderer wincon then the cult would have to kill him to win, and at that point it was looking close to the cult getting the numbers. Especially with suicidal in the mix.
