EXACTLY SGR, he was playing the LONG game. Aka bussing all of his buddies one by one to remain the Town Hero alive at the end of the game who was always doc protected.
He cares more about how he looks, aka if he called his buddies TOWN he'd look BAD after they [inevtiably] died before him.Fate is absurdly beautiful. 運命に弄ばれる

I agree with this, I think OhGodMyLife volunteered himself to be sacrificed because he knew this would give him a town-read and wouldn't actually end with him sacrificed.Kublai Khan wrote:If OhGodMyLife is volunteering to be sacrificed then he is scum.
@Fate: I disagree completely, I think you are being extreme. I think he was playing the long game, but I'm sure he wanted to make a mistake here or there and help his buddies stay alive. After all, if he never made a mistake, that would be more suspicious if he did a mistake or other, don't you think?I'm from EpicMafia and I love it there. Everything I say is now invalid.

This is why I think wrath is scum. Ythill tried some early distancing/bussing, he took it very badly. Read the first few pages / read wrath in iso to see what I'm talking about.Fate wrote:EXACTLY SGR, he was playing the LONG game. No, no fucking way. You'l never sell me the idea that Wrath is Ythill's buddy, Ythill bussing him as cleanly as that at the beginning of D1 would make him more suspicious, not less.I'm from EpicMafia and I love it there. Everything I say is now invalid.

NO.
YOU.
ARE.
ALIVE.
Just stop spouting nonsense and proxy your vote to me. I'm not sacrificing a town read for one night's of tracker results for no damn reason. We can do it LATER in the game to direct scum NKs, whereas right now scum NKs are a HIGH SOURCE of informationFate is absurdly beautiful. 運命に弄ばれる

C'mon farside22, which scenario sounds most likely:farside22 wrote:@KK: You know Fate just claimed last page to be the one to vig Ythill.
A) Town-VigFate targets and kills Ythill because she wants town-leadership
B) Scum-Fate looking to either out the vig or laugh at the frustrated silent SK
C) Town-Fate claiming crap repeatedly.
EBWOP: Fate is denying-ish the claim, but justifies A anyways.

Nexus SHOULDA been a torn on read, given that player's flake history.
But when I come in and YELL TOWN FROM THEMOUTNAIN TOPS, the appropriate response it to sheep me.
B) Lol. Like I''d sacrifice MYSELF to out a fuckin vig. Plus laughing at the frustrtated silent SK is something I'd do as A AND CFate is absurdly beautiful. 運命に弄ばれる

I want to be sacrificed because a large proportion of the town thinks I'm scum anyway (see: yesterday's wagon, today's action), and sacrificing me saves the town the mislynch and nets a confirmed pro-town player. I explained clearly why I was torn on nexus yesterday, obviously I have now made up my mind in the town direction. Neither of those things are scrambling or flailing. You should spend your energy scum hunting instead of smearing me with meaningless terms.KK wrote:Volunteering to be sacrificed.

Farside: I'm not sure what I make of them electing me. At the time, I was flattered but slightly bemused. In retrospect, I think it's a good scum move; throw support behind a more obscure townie to gain points for independent thinking. I may be somewhat biased because they are my top two scumreads at the moment, but that's my opinion. As for Llamafluff's statements about my play, well, yeah. I do think I've been posting well, I've put my suspicions out there, I've been scumhunting.
I'm not sure where this case on me springs out of, really. I saw one post where I was suspecting Saint yet voting the same target as him. Turns out, scum sometimes vote other scum, and I thought it was entirely null in terms of placing my vote. As for not starting debate among the elects, I admit that I should have done that. However, the fact that people are skipping past self-contradicting scum Llama and giving-up scum OGML in favor of me is baffling.
As a sidenote, that's why I'm not electing anyone yet; I think it's a bad idea for anyone to get too many election votes at the moment, because people get locked into the idea of so-and-so going backstage and it colors perceptions.Witness the man who raves at the wall- Fate

It is if it was done promptly, well thought out, and with content.farside22 wrote:@KK: Knowing Fate's play style it probably a combo of B or C.
Depends on his alignment.
Also I agree with KK that someone doing a catch up post (especially one that wasn't that indepth) isn't a town tell
Scum usually stall or botch their catch-ups. So yeah, it was a town tell. He's not scum now, but he doesn't get a town badge because his vote is being wasted today. If he REALLY thinks I'm scum and he's town, he needs to shutup, Elect me, and help me bus this waste of a player ApokaFate is absurdly beautiful. 運命に弄ばれる

You'd be surprised at how good I am at derailing lynches, OMGL, I'd cite an on-going game but I shouldn't. I've replaced in and derailed lynches that were at L-1 before and such.
When I get a town read I'd bet MY life on, there's no way that person gets lynched while I'm alive.Fate is absurdly beautiful. 運命に弄ばれる

I never said I was calling you scum. If you read my posts, you will see that I am saying OGML and Llama are scum, repeatedly, citing reasons. And I defended myself against the wagon on me, so I'm not sure where you're getting this lack of reaction from.
Also, and I feel the need to say this yet again because I'm being drowned out:What do you guys think of Llama's blatant contradictions in his view of AGar based on ghost's flip?

Yeah you defended yourself, "i've been scumhunting I swear!" that was defense against Llama or whatever.
I know you have your two "prime mislynch" targets for the day, that doesn't count as scumhunting.
Bold all you want, I don't care about an apparent contradiction. Let's see what YOU think of EVERYONE. So far you've just been doing the bare minumum with "suspects" and "looking for scumtells" but you haven't been approaching the game holistically as town would, or commenting on important things.
I AM READING THE SAME GAME, I SAW YOUR ROLE PM BUDDY. YOURE SCUM.Fate is absurdly beautiful. 運命に弄ばれる

Here I present every mention Ythill makes of apok:
ISO #14
First mention. Zero explanation. Apok appears safely in last place on the scumlist.Ythill wrote:Finished rereading. Both Seacore and Llama have gained some actual cred, the former more so.
Scum (in order): Ghost, ani, wrath,Apok.
People of interest: GG, LL.
Town: vezo, SGR, Seacore, Llama, farside.
ISO #15
Ythill is forced to give some measure of reason. Its fluffy BS.Ythill wrote:@SGR: Apok is under the radar but managed to answer the one question directed at him.
ISO #33
Suddenly Apok is getting towny brownies for un-compelling points? Wishy washy wishy washyYthill wrote:Ghost is looking scummier with his willingness to lynch any lead wagon other than him, especially with that wishy-washy read on ani. A townie brownie for Apok, though I don't find his point compelling in context. And Tasky just left null for scummy.
ISO #34
His next post. Despite the previously mentioned towny brownie, Apok still finds himself comfortably in last place on Ythill's scumlist.Ythill wrote:I don't think OGML is scum per se. And I think associative tells are pointless speculation on D1. If you're asking who I find scummy, the current list is: ani, Ghost, Magna, Wrath, and Apok.
ISO #35
Back to the townie brownies. Waffle waffle waffle. No real reason given for why this particular wagon dynamic was worthy of either town or scum points for the players in question, either.Ythill wrote: Wagon dynamics:
Half of the players have voted SGR at one point or another. His wagon swelled and held strong across two counters and then dissolved when "dangerously-influential" me called for an OGML wagon. IF SGR is town, scum were parking and jumped off after it started to fall apart.
SGRaaize (4) - A Gaggle of Geese,OhGodMyLife,Ghostlin, Ythill
SGRaaize (6) - A Gaggle of Geese,OhGodMyLife,Ghostlin,Apokalyptika, Llamafluff, animorpherv1
SGRaaize (6) -OhGodMyLife,Ghostlin,Apokalyptika, animorpherv1,Tasky, Locke Lamora
SGRaaize (4) -OhGodMyLife,Ghostlin, animorpherv, Locke Lamora
SGRaaize (2) - animorpherv1, Locke Lamora
Townie brownies for Apok and Magna (which is ironic). Scumpoints for OGML and Ghost.
ISO #37
Here Ythill is just pestering obvtown gaggle, trying to gauge their position on one or more scumbuddies (Apok, Agar) probably to see which way the winds were blowing for busses.Ythill wrote:@GG: Since you're here, what are your reads on Magna, Apok, Llama, AGar, and LL? Was playing the farside tells close to your chest discussed as a tactic in your QT? Now that you've had some time to get used to one another, are you finding that your private discussions are critical enough to diminish confirmation bias or cooperative enough to increase it? If allowed backstage with farside, will you do your part to keep your fight with her from distracting us?
ISO #39
There he is, still inexplicably parked in last place on the scumlist despite the townie brownies he's been accruing. Could it be more obvious at this point?Ythill wrote:There has been a lot of movement on my lists due to the amount of content. Here are the new tallies...
Scum (in order): Ghost, ani, OGML,Apok
People of interest: Magna, Wrath
Town: GG, vezo, SGR, Saint, Seacore, Llama (honorary), farside, LL
ISO #57
Here again apok shows up nestled amongst the random scumreads/willingness to lynch list, but manages to be the player paid the least attention.Ythill wrote:Ghostlin remains at the top of my suspect list by a decent margin. Ani and Nexus are the runners up. A lynch on any of them would be good. By the numbers, OGML,Apok, and Wrath have been sufficiently scummy that I wouldn't mind seeing them hang. However, that last bit from Wrath means I'd definitely vote him over OGML and so I'm going to stay away from that wagon unless there is some serious to hop back on.
ISO #65
"scummy but not nearly as bad as the others" pretty much speaks for itself.Ythill wrote:In the same post where I looked at the electorate, I removed OGML from my lynch list and, though it wasn't entirely explicit, moved Wrath into a top four category that didn't include Apok (who is scummy but not nearly as bad as the others).
tl;dr Ythill was obviously keeping apok at a safe place in his scumlist where he could continuously call him scum without ever actually voting for or endangering him. They're scum buddies. Lynch pls.- Fate

Apok is scum for his posts, among other things, and PoE from a various number of town reads.
I'll tell you the reasons for the townreads if you REALLY want to know in the QT tonight.

vote: Apok
Also I think MOI is scum with Ythill. That argument between the two of them looks forced rereading it. Light bussing without voting and crap comments. Looking it remnds me of a game where I argued with my scum buddy.
Anyone will to Sacrifice MOI to get Vezo back with me.
