chkflip, pretty sure your set-up is too swingy for a lot of people on this site to like it. Personally, I don't mind that, but it annoys most people here.

Macho means that Doc protections on that player don't function. It's mostly used on Cops to prevent "Follow the Cop", but it has other applications.

1 Town-aligned Sane Cop

5 Vanilla Townies

Special Mechanic: If both Faith Healers protect the same person in one night, the protection is guaranteed to not work. Y'know, competing religions and whatnot.

What do people think? I literally just thought of it on my way to work this morning while mulling in my head the recent discussion about the brokenness of the Basic 12P setup. So feel free to critique it, both good and bad.

2 Town-aligned Faith Healers
1 Town-aligned Sane Cop
7 Vanilla Townies

Same special mechanic, and still daystart.

Special Mechanic: If both Faith Healers protect the same person in one night, the protection is guaranteed to not work. Y'know, competing religions and whatnot.

One faith healer claims out loud that they will not be on the cop. Can agree to get lynched if there's a possibility of it being a mafia fakeclaim. Then gets cop to claim. Other faith healer can be on cop.

Setup then becomes follow the cop/12-player basic.

Ah. Not familiar with faith healer as a standard role. Faith healers are docs that only have a 50% chance of protecting, 0% if they both target the same person?

I think the Mafia Bomber and the Mafia Role Cop should be seperate roles; instead having 1 goon, 1 bomb, and 1 flavor cop.

Magua--faith healers are docs with a 50% success rate. I added the 0% success rate for protecting the same person for this setup as an unconventional way to discourage the follow-the-cop tactic with the added benefit of upping the WIFOM factor. Plus, two faith healers would make for interesting scum claim/CC scenarios, I'm hoping.

Both the Hooker and the Goon get a kill. If the hooker targets the Syllabic the Syllabic will kill the hooker.
If the goon targets a Bomb, then the bombs and the goon die.
If the Hooker targets a bomb then just the bombs die.
If the goon targets the Syllabic then the Syllabic dies.
