Welcome to generic Newbie Town!

Some terribly sneaky people have recently managed to surreptitiously take residence here, without your notice! What’s more is that they have been the cause of numerous homicides, taking place on unbelievably regular occasions!

Realising something funny has been occurring, you have taken it upon yourselves to try and solve this dubious matter in the most civil way possible, by locking away your top suspects and forcing them to hang each other by the noose on a daily basis until the murders stop.

The last people standing when the nightly misdeeds cease to take place will be assumed innocent and allowed to rejoin your peaceful little town of Newbies, regardless of all circumstances surrounding their survival of this genius and full-proof method of getting rid of these scummy bastards.

Rules:

• Each night will have a three day deadline.
  
• If you have not made a post for 72 hours you will receive a prod.
  
• If you do not post after 48 hours of receiving a prod, you will be replaced.
  
• If you have limited access or on vacation that means you will not be able to make the prods response time, please inform me so I can act accordingly.
  
• When you are dead you may no longer post. Not even a "bah" post.
  
• If you wish to address me, please bold your concern and tag it @mod:
  
• No use of small fonts or colours or hiding of information in anyway in a post.
  
• I am the mod, my word is law and my rule is final.

Nope. Usually quite the opposite actually. I'm here to mainly answer any kinds of general questions about the game of Mafia, and play the game the same way I normally would in any game. Since I have a good amount of experience with this site and Mafia in general, I'm supposed to be this shining beacon of knowledge that you newer players might be able to learn a thing or two from.

Or at least that's what they hope us ICs are able to do for ya'll.

Personally, I've never been a big fan of random voting. I don't think it's the most efficient way to start a game. Thus, I'm going to throw out a few random questions about ourselves and about mafia theory.

1) How long have you been playing?
2) How often can we expect you to post?
3) What is your opinion on lurking?
4) In what situation is it permissible for a vanilla townie to lie?

Hopefully that can start a productive discussion. I'm going to hold off on answering to let the rest of the class chime in first.
