Pure coincidence. People were suspecting espeo D2, but tragedy was lynched instead. So I investigated him night2, got the guilty, he replaced out, pine jumped in and the wagon grew on him. It died down so I put in my investigation result, he was lynched.
Now that the player he got killed has been revealed as scum, yeah that's pretty obvious.
You said this in response to Bunny telling about a suspicion of me busing Pine. Pure circumstance, there was a wagon on both of us at the time, I came out with my claim and he was lynched, not me.
Notice that he attempted to suggest that there might be more than one cop in expectation of a cc. You ask why he would invent an absurd story about why he only has one investigation out of two (now three) nights. I don't think you thought through this so well as the first one. There is no reason to think that scum would not attempt to explain why they didn't have pro-town information.
This is a large game (largest I've ever played) I guess my inexperience figured that possibly putting doubles of PRs might be a plausible idea.
Ythan wrote:thil13 wrote:I know for a fact that Espeonage is scum, and since you replaced him you are too.
UNVOTE; VOTE: Pine
Oh look, a vote in your third post after the claim post.
I got lost in the heat of the moment, at the time I was feeling fairly pressured and it didn't occur to me to place a vote immediately.

And now you're bitching about the fact that I don't believe you.
The fact that your answers to multiple individual points don't sway me.
Points that you shouldn't have opened yourself to in the first place.
Points that are no more possible, and less likely, than the simpler explanation that you're scum.
You can say "Oh but I'm town. And oh but I forgot to use my role power. And oh but I don't have any results other than the questionable one I did claim because such and such reasons."
But none of those answers place any weight on the town side of the scale. They are just possible explanations. Explanations any scum player would post.
The fact that you can tell us why you have only one result doesn't make it any less suspicious that you do.- Dekes

Weird cop play, thil. Extremely weird.
Let's get the facts straight:
- There is no hint whatsoever to be seen thil had a guilty on Espeo
- scum have daytalk
- at the time thil claimed there was no way in hell that somebody else but thil or Pine would get lynched
- Pine flipped Goon
I don't think for a second it's impossible thil and Pine are scum together. However, lewarcher brought up a good point. Since chkflip was in a team with Pine, it begs the question, why would chkflip make a hard case on thil when he could simply bus the goon?
Plus, the wagon on thil: Ythan, dana and PatB =
thil, I'm too lazy to check: Did you forget to send in an action N1 or were you roleblocked?
esuriospiritus wrote:People in the so-called bloc are not getting killed and it is making me nervous. I need to reread.
Part of it might be because the bloc hasn't been acting like a bloc since early Day 2 and has lost a lot of its threat for any scum.
But I do want to hear from crazypianist who's been off the radar for a good while now.
Andy, you know I love you, man. But you should also know that you lost any credibility and a town membership since this one here.
Dekes wrote:The Master Hand wrote:Dekes seems like the perfect middle-of-the-road player at this point. (p.s. Have I ever seen you as town?)
I started skimming here after I realized you are still scum. We played Blackest Night together as town until the last day. I'm more than sure you still remember this game. And on top of that it's the only game we played together.
I feel like votes need to be here:

you know what would make you look a little less scummy? If you quit joining wagons without explaning why. What evidence did you review? If you had the time for reviewing evidence, how about making a post longer than 3 lines, once in a while?
So...you're trying to coach me? If you think I'm scum, why would you want to help me look less scummy? I reviewed the evidence that others were bringing to the forefront, and felt no need to reiterate it. What other wagons have I joined without explaining why? Also, please look at Ythan if you want to talk about short posts.- Kdub

Ythan, do you think that scum fakeclaiming cop would claim to have failed to send in an action N1? If anything, that strikes me as more likely to be an honest answer. That just raises extra doubts when he could have easily claimed an innocent on someone if he was lying.
Dekes wrote:- at the time thil claimed there was no way in hell that somebody else but thil or Pine would get lynched
The dana wagon was gaining some steam for a bit. Without the cop claim, I'm not so sure we would have necessarily lynched one of those two.
chkflip's iso is not so helpful. His attack on thil came early before the wagon had formed on him, so it's probably null in terms of how likely it is to be bussing vs. trying to get a counter-wagon to Espeonage started. Notably he questions the dana wagon, but never mentions him otherwise.Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Mafia - 17-player large theme, currently needs (0) replacements- Ythan

I did forget to act on N1 Dekes.

How, is any of my answers to your points "bitching"? Last I checked it was called defending yourself.
Fair enough that it doesn't sway you.
It happened, I'm dealing with the consequences of you trying to find every last thing I did that could possibly be scum motivated.
You're using Occam's Razor, simplest solution is the best. Too bad it's not.
It wasn't questionable, because did I not outright say he was scum, and call him out for his lie?
An explanation is an explanation none the less. Go ahead and take them as scummy, even though it is purely circumstance.
All you have been doing is pointing every last detail about my actions, call them scummy, and dismiss what I say and label it scummy posting. I would say YOU sir, are being disingenuous.Give me three steps, gimme three steps, mister- esuriospiritus

/points at sig
I'm gonna be busy this weekend. I'll check in if I have time, but I doubt it.
I've been on the fence about this Thil thing for a few reasons. I absolutely see the points Ythan is making, and the points I've already made (and TMH voting Ythan right now does not give me the warm fuzzies and this has very much been a ythan vs thil thing for days) but at the same time, it's entirely hypocritical of me to damn someone based largely on a clumsy claim. (*coughcough*)
But if Ythan is pullingthatcard then... hell. I'll just have to swallow that icky hypocritical feeling. ._. It's not a good enough thing to base a vote or lack thereof on anyway.
Vote: Thil
I still haven't gotten around to that re-read TBH. It'll get done first thing when I get back from v/la if nothing else.

I don't think the chance should be completely ignored, but I do think the chance is small. If you take a look at his posting history at the time during which N1 occurred, he did post on site a few hours after the night began, but not at all during the next three days. It seems consistent with his explanation that he missed the deadline.Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Mafia - 17-player large theme, currently needs (0) replacements- lewarcher82

I have seenwhatneeds to be seen... not so subtle, after all, dekes is totally right. Therefore, there are two possible paths, and the wiser is probably to:
unvote
I am still very nervous about the current situation, tho, and the path I picked is already being pressured. So for the time being I prefer to put my vote on another FoS of mine and give thil some more time to post some content. For instance: do you think ythan is scum or just wrong about you? Please answer with more than a line of text.

Okay, ythan is tunneling. Dekes is following and trying to take out our credibility. Both happen to be on scum list.
1)thil claimed cop, he got a scum. This is no time to out a claimed power role. Who is thil scum with?
Esurio, what about our vote doesn't give you "warm and fuzzy" feelings?
-Yhan's lack of an answer to Dekes' question is alarming. Not to mention the whole TRUST ME BS. If you want trust, prove why I should trust you. Isn't that what you said to thil about his cop claim? If you want more proof than a scum flip, then you should provide more reasons to trust you than blatant tunneling.

Honestly, I say both, because I would now say he is scum, and lying to kill off a PR. His severe tunneling and attacking of me is almost out of the blue, and the reasons against it he is completely ignoring. He has just been non-stop attacking me with points against me, and has almost entirely ignored my defense. The problem is,he's succeeding.Give me three steps, gimme three steps, mister- GhostWriter

Ythan, question: How certain are you of this? Are you "get immediately lynched if he flips town" certain of this? Because that's exactly what you're risking, I'd just like to point that out. Like, legit, if you somehow managed to rally enough votes for Thil to be lynched, and he flipped town, you'd be served up a nice steaming platter of rope the very next day.- GhostWriter

I find it questionable that TMH both acknowledges my hinting and yet suggests that I'm tunneling. It's one or the other but he is still taking the opportunity to accuse me. Interesting.
Ghost, I would stillabsolutelyright if he flipped townie. But there is no reason for him to have fakeclaimed cop as town. As scum he had to. And yeah I'm down. - Ythan
