Yeah, I'm seeing a trend from Riot towards making old heroes less interesting (Annie, Gangplank losing his deny, upcoming Nasus rework - although we don't know what form that'll take yet) and making new heroes increasing outlandish, then patching them back towards balance later. Which I suppose is how they make their money, by getting first-day buys from people who just want to pubstomp with someone no-one has worked out how to counter, but still...

People have been saying this since the very first new champions.

Yeah. The video was shitty though because I was tired and continually muttered under my breath.

Also there's been some rune/mastery tinkering between then and here.

I have started becoming really good with Fiddlesticks, however between Crowstorms I tend to get raped in anything larger than a 1v1.

Drain can keep me alive through a lot of damage, but 2v1 or 2v2, or teamfights I tend to die pretty quickly. Still, fiddle is easily one of the best lanning champions I've ever touched.

Trynd and Swain are even more annoying in lane (mostly swain, though trynd's ult mean you can't really kill him at all unless he's dumb for the early game stuff): swain being practically impossible to harass after level 6, since he's got dat heal, and trynd being possible to harass but also having a rather decent heal that makes it somewhat nullified.

Dat heal isn't that good, and it's a maaaaassive mana suck. With my new Terrify/Drain build, I'm stomping Swains.

Fiddle was changed a fuckton, to the point that anyone who played him before are terrible with him now. His early game is stronger, but you have to take Dark Wind early over Terrify or Drain, and he needs super farm to be useful.

bv is half correct, in that his early game was made more powerful and his late game suffers more.

His raw damage output was nerfed and his AP ratios increased. Fiddle is a blast in my current ~10 summoner-level games (as I'm a newbie still), but he relies so much on reduced enemy Situational Awareness which is hard to come by in upper tiers. I've no idea which champ I want to try next, but I'll find something.

Back to Fiddle, I really don't use Dark Wind. I get it at about level 13 (I.e. when I have to), otherwise using drain to stay in the fight. I rarely leave my lane throughout the early game, and at level 6 I go grab bluebuff, on the way back I crowstorm/terrify/drain to victory. It's magic, really.



Taking suggestions for my next champ (looking for a pusher or a carry with decent survivability in roughly the same vein as I've been playing Fiddle.

Pubstomping is more about consistency. You need to really stomp 4-5 times out of 6-7 to really get a reading.

Wow Oman for a player that is still lvl 10 you are sure expressing more knowledge of the game than alot of lvl 30ies ;p
I Would definitely suggest getting all abilities whenever you play as ANY champ since it will always increase your damage output, especially as fiddle as it might win you an extra second of drain.

You should try playing Mordekaiser (great carry and decent survivability, get ap build for him),
Although i want to see more people playing Cassiopea, such an underrated champ ;D

I would suggest not playing Cassiopeia, simply because if she gets popular, she will get nerfed so hard it won't even be funny anymore. She's extremely powerful.

Oman, Morde or Cass are good choices, as would Blitz (a good Blitz is amazing for a team), though Blitz needs quite a bit of practice.

@Kiwi: Make a few rune pages for the basic roles so you don't get a huge disantvantage later on when you play new champs
I personally made 2 rune pages, for one Ability power centered champs and one for physical/tank
Ability power:
3 Quincies for flat ability power
Marks for Magic penetration
Cooldown reduction Seals
Ability power per lvl Glyphs

Physical::
Quincies for health or Quincies for Movement speed (Bought them for the lulz but they actually proved to be useful)
Marks for armor Penetration
Magic resist seals
Magic resist per lvl glyphs

The pages cost around 20k but you'll be glad when you finish them
