JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE NAMES 5 SUSPECTS DOESN'T MEAN THEY HAVE SLIPPED AND SAID THERE IS A 5-MAN SCUM TEAM.

Please tell me why you would see pere name 5 suspects and be like: "OMG A SLIP THAT HE KNOWS THERE IS A 5-MAN SCUM TEAM!!!!"

I don't think PL's are inherently scummy. I don't really agree on PL's, since I'd rather keep and work with a dumb townie than waste the lynch, but I know people who agree with you and I understand. I do think it can be exploited by scum, but it's not inherently scummy. Early game I saw more talk of PL's than scum hunting, which is what worried me.

I was dipping my feet in the pool and checking the temperature before I dived in.

That, and I'm lazy, and discussing PLs always generates some sort of discussion. Plus I don't mind looking 'scummy' early. I find I read the game better when people are attacking me.

Who are your scum picks? Thoughts on Fate and ZeL1nk? They are two of the most active players so far so there is plenty of information from them.

Atilysan and pappums Rat and Lowell each had one post, which was less than me (I had 2). Atilysan and Lowell have since posted, and Pappums is replacing out.

@Silavor- I think the mafia team is 6-8 players. It could be one or two teams. It could include a SK or two, or other self-aligned.

@Earworm- Yes, there were 5 players in the post, but see my response to Silavor above.

@Flavor (re post 310)- Maybe, but I'm not going to make shit up about every single players post in order to make up a case on them. I'll read, post, and contribute, and I'm sure they will too, so, no, I don't think it's hypocritical.

Seriously, when you make a case on someone, you expect THIS PERSON to respond to it. A case for me is the same thing as a question, sorry if it doesn't end with an interrogation mark...
And why is it a bad thing to do? Because if you respond for another person, it's harder to form a read on that other person.

If you thought someone was saying there was exactly 5 scum, and not "maybe" five scum or some other number -- why wouldn't you think that is a slip?

I mean, why comment on it at all if you're not laying blame somewhere? In what way was it important to you otherwise?

No, actually, when I make a case on someone, it's open for discussion, and in fact, I encourage people to discuss any case I make. Pick it apart, tell me what you do or don't agree with, it'll help me get a better read on you.

On the other hand, there are times when I'll ask someone a question and want only a response from them, not speculation from other players. But I didn't answer any questions on FA's behalf, so this isn't the case.

Why would you base calling someone scum in this game based off of 1-game meta in another game (Cold War)? Do you think that is a sufficient reason to suspect someone?

My point was to get him to talk, to find out if he really was trying to say there was only five scum or not. It was too vague for me to make up my mind on whether there was anything scummy about it or not.
