I'm an aggressive player, I just need a more aggressive champion that I don't dislike

If you're really aggressive, there are two kinds of champions to look in to. One are the ridiculously durable sustained damage dealers, like Mordekaiser or Garen, who might not secure kills as often but won't be punished for being alone as often either. (An actual quote from a game as Morde: "Yeah I'm just gonna start fighting, you guys show up whenever"). The other option is to play a "madness" character who relies on insane aggression and burst, like Leblanc or Pantheon. But you'll feed a lot with those until your positioning becomes good another to sustain your madness.

So my advice is to start with fat sustained, and you can gradually shift to squishier, more bursty champions as your map awareness and positioning improve.

I'm really close to getting 6300 bucks. So I want to buy a new champ. Right now the only ones I have are Ashe (cuz she's cheap and you play her in the tutorial) and Tristana (cuz she's free from Facebook). I'd like to get someone different than those two, especially since I play with singer a lot and she gets pissy if you pick Ashe.

So I need suggestions. I'm really terrible at this game so plz factor that in. I was thinking about Nocturne cuz he was kinda fun when I tried him out a couple weeks ago and I want to try this jungling business but I dunno, what do you guys think.

Zito: Janna is a great introduction to supports. Veigar is a nice two-for-one in that he'll help you work on being a caster AND last-hitting. Mordekaiser is just great fun, fat guy who wins his lane. I'd stay away from a true tank for now since tanking requires a lot of game knowledge to do right.

I'd recommend not buying nocturne. He's pretty squishy and requires a decent amount of finesse - and what's more, he's at his best when jungling cause his level 6 ganks are amazing and even scarier when he's permanently missing in action.

Veigar is an ok ap carry for learning, but he's pretty weak early game. Annie is a better choice imo - and she's cheap too, so you can get her and other stuff. Annie is an amazing nuker and not too hard if you're worried about that.

I'd recommend playing some heroes who demand an aggro in your face playstyle - someone like swain or vlad is pretty forgiving, or you can play the ultimate troll char singed. Better to learn how to be front line type meat early on so you don't play too pussy as a tank later. Being a tank is all about being a baller. Other choices - jarvan, garen, rumble, mundo, irelia (but she's pretty squishy to start with and has to build tanky), cho, galio (but he's more of a poky nuker type to be totally honest)

I really wish snowballing as Shen is viable in real games

Oh well. I'm going to be playing Shen a bit so that I can add more tanks to my repertoire. Only really had decent performances as Amumu and using Jarvan as a tank.

For some reason, I remember still having a positive score that game. If not by as awesome a margin as normal.

Rumble, Renekton, Morde, Jarvan, Malphite (to an extent). Tanky DPS really.

I only get pissy when you lock in within 3 seconds of champion select and so everyone has to build around you without any say in the matter. I'm fine with Garen, er well, I should get better with him, but it was just the fact that there wasn't even an option since my computer LOADS RIDICULOUSLY SLOW BECAUSE THIS GAME ISN'T MEANT FOR MACS.

I'd really like to learn how to play a tank. I like blitzcrank but I don't have enough gold to get him yet. Soon, though!!

When saving up for level 20 runes and you're bored of your champs, buy 450 and 1320 (or whatever the 1k one is) champs. They're all good, fun characters and give you some nice diversity.

Guys, I find that I can only really play support well, and this obviously doesn't work in solo queue. I can manage an okay AP tf, but I'm otherwise not that good with non-support champions. Do you have any advice for picking some easier to control AD / AP carries and other workable solo queue champions? I want to expand my skillset a bit further and am not really sure on where to start.

I found learning a jungler helped me get out of the Support funk. I went with Udyr first, then branched out in to Nunu, Warwick, etc.

Also @Dram, you saw me in one game as Twitch, everyone has off days. I was experimenting with a Attack Speed and AP build that focused more on expunge than ambush. I couldn't play it right so now I'm back to Attack Power and back dooring.
