General Rules:

1. This is a game, please have fun.
2. Be courteous and respectful to your fellow scummers.
3. Votes should be in bold or in vote tags to be counted. Unvotes are not mandatory but would be appreciated.
4. No cryptography, tiny invisible text or other shenanigans. I reserve the right to call shenanigans. So if you're wanting to do something shifty, ask me first.

5. Dark blue is the moderating color. Please refrain from using it to prevent confusion.

6. The mod is God but not an infallible one. If I make what you think to be a critical mistake please discuss it with me via PM and feel free to publicly shame me after the game is completed.

Deadlines and Activity:

1. Day phase deadlines will be equal to 2 x (number of living players), with a 30 day maximum and 14 day minimum.
2. I may consider granting an extension for certain circumstances like replacements or holidays.
3. Night phases will last a minimum of 48 hours and a maximum of 72 hours unless otherwise specified.
4. You will be prodded if you go 48 hours without a post. Three prods in a game day will lead to forced replacement. Receiving two prods back to back without responding will also lead to forced replacement.
5. If you plan on being VLA for an extended period let me know, and something can be worked out.
6. If a majority is not reached by deadline the player with the most votes will be lynched. If there is a tie, the player that received those votes first will be lynched.

Communication:

1. There is to be no out of thread communication unless otherwise specified.
2. Game posts may not be edited. If you have tag fail, you may request mod intervention.
3. Please do not quote communications with the mod unless permission is granted to do so. Faking such communications will result in the same punishment as actual infractions.
4. Do not post screenshots, chat logs, or official "looking" documentation of out of thread communications with other players. If you're in doubt, run it by me first.

The network producers have decided that Kids In The Hall is over budget and in order to save money they have to trim down the number of characters on the show. After the announcement that characters would be cut, things got ugly. Some decided to kill other characters in order to save their own skin. Last week it was determined that the ham of truth was really just an attempt to cover up the murder of the flying pig. And yesterday morning Mrs. Larson was found in her backyard impaled by her own gazebo.

Something must be done. And that something is Gavin.

Gavin was deemed by the characters union as being the most neutral character in the Kids in the Hall. Therefore, he was chosen to moderate the dispute among you guys, the board of the characters union. Each day you will vote to remove a character from the union board. Once all the evil has been wrested from power you can get back to show production.

Just an FYI there are a couple people VLA at the opening of the game and there may be some issues for players due to Hurricane Irene.
As such, I don't expect this game to get off to a blistering pace, so I hope people don't end up frustrated/disinterested.
If you flake I will have your kneecaps broken, Italy is a short train ride away and I know people that know people.
