I wanted to see how it worked out with scum wanting to gift each other but being afraid of the consequences of doing so versus town, with a night start, opting to weaken their role by giving it to themselves versus taking a gamble.

I really liked the idea, but I think you need to be careful about balance. Enabler-only games are tougher for town to win because there's the extra level in between.
Note: I'm not saying that the balance was off on this one.
Inventor-only was fine except that scum theoretically shouldn't have been able to gift themselves or at least only had one gifter on their side, then again it didn't come into play here due to town giving us ALL THE GIFTS so eh
I thought about the gifter business with scum a lot. (one version of this setup was a scum vig AND scum couldn't give to scum).
Considering the nature of the two scum powers and the tracker and watcher in play I knew it wouldn't be gamebreaking because of risk/reward (lets say the tracker saw Plum target Reck and Reck said he got a doc ability).
One thing I probably should have done and I need a voice to yell at me more about is making clear what things ARE versus just flavor. That's my bad.
