People just don't understand how to play Teemo imo.

Shrooms are wards that may happen to do damage, build attack speed/proc items and then defensive items, put 21 points in Defensive, blind is deceptively good cc, be the cleanup in teamfights with your poison, take advantage of your stealth to push towers!

EDIT: did another round of sn updating. Lmk if you're STILL not on there.

I kinda wanna play Singed, he seems like a really balanced champion.

The new rotation this week features half champions I already own and half champions I really had no interest in playing...

Can someone give me a list of like the top 3-5 junglers in the game? I really wanna get better at jungling. Also, any basic tips would be great... such as how to sustain health, when to leave the jungle and start laning, when you can take down dragon/baron, etc.

Also opening Tiger means you don't need to waste points getting it later which allows for a faster bear / turtle max.

The ganks aren't worse if you do it right. Having a lot of extra AoE damage in front of you every 3 attacks is quite a big deal. You simply need to position properly. You are able to get that extra damage a lot more easily than with tiger, have the waves constantly doing damage as well, and the damage only gets filtered through magic resistance once.

Madred's Razors is mostly an invalid argument since it's all luck whether you get the proc 5 times in a row (best case) or don't ever get it in a 15 minute time spam (far beyond worst case). Phoenix scales very well if you get a Gunblade and some sort of attack speed item (Wits End imo). It also allows you to get a Void Staff without sacrificing straight damage, which Tigerdyr has to assess whether having an item dedicated to pure penetration is worth it (since tiger proc IS magic damage...).

I don't get points in Tiger until 16-18.

Tip #1: Never leave the jungle to start laning unless your team is absolutely awful. The real question is when to stop jungling and start ganking, and that really depends on which champion you're playing. Here's a list of most junglers, with my favorites in the first one and several others there for completeness' sake. These lists are in no particular order within their sub-categories.

My favorite junglers:

Udyr
Amumu
Rammus
Olaf

Other great junglers:

Warwick
Nocturne
Fiddlesticks
Shaco

Honorable Mentions:

Gangplank
Irelia
Lee Sin
Xin Zhao
Nunu
Yi

Other Junglers:

Malphite
Karthus
Jarvan
Shen
Jax
Trundle
Tryndamere

Why is AoE important in a gank?
Tiger Proc is a DoT, you only need to hit them once to apply it, how is phoenix easier to deal damage with?
What do you mean by "the damage only gets filtered through magic resistance once"?

Madred's Razors is mostly an invalid argument since it's all luck whether you get the proc 5 times in a row (best case) or don't ever get it in a 15 minute time spam

Tiger gives tons of attack speed, Madreds in an 15% on hit proc. More hits, more procs.

It also allows you to get a Void Staff without sacrificing straight damage

How the hell are you rich enough to get tanky, get your wriggles and afford items like gunblades and void staffs, you're a jungler.

I don't get points in Tiger until 16-18.

You're severely weakening your ability to take objectives (Buffs, Dragons and Towers) this way, I don't see what P.Stances gives that makes it worth that trade off as taking those are a large part of your as a jungler, getting farmed up by stealing XP / Gold from your lanes via AoE spam is counter productive.

you don't start laning as a jungler, you continue jungling until the laning phase is over, ganking to ensure that your side wins the lanes (learning when to gank and how to do so is the single most important skill a jungler can have; a jungler that isn't ganking isn't a threat to the enemy team, and a jungler that's continually trying to gank and failing is a laughingstock)

the 3 best junglers in the game right now are lee sin (fast jungle, great utility, pretty damn good damage), nocturne (by far the scariest ganks in the game once he hits 6 if not just for the psychological "oh god where's the nocturne going" factor when he ults, more utility than lee sin but not as much damage, can split push like a boss), and gangplank (has a scary level 2 gank, a qss on an 18-sec cd, parrrley procs on-hit effects so it's like a stronger and more spammable nunu ice ball if gp has red)

the 3 easiest junglers to use are probably warwick, nunu, and udyr

EDIT: Too lazy to fix my quote tags, especially since they were really messy in the first place.

Why is AoE important in a gank?
Not entirely; in a duo lane, it can be the difference between getting a single kill and both laners

Tiger Proc is a DoT, you only need to hit them once to apply it, how is phoenix easier to deal damage with?
The same way you auto attack with Tiger after you apply the DoT; it's not much different

What do you mean by "the damage only gets filtered through magic resistance once"?
Udyr's Tiger Stance is a DoT, meaning that MR gets factored every tick. Phoenixdyr only has the nuke apply to MR once.

Madred's Razors is mostly an invalid argument since it's all luck whether you get the proc 5 times in a row (best case) or don't ever get it in a 15 minute time spam

Tiger gives tons of attack speed, Madreds in an 15% on hit proc. More hits, more procs.

Disregarding luck, you are correct here. This is probably the only real disadvantage Phoenixdyr has to Tigerdyr.

It also allows you to get a Void Staff without sacrificing straight damage

How the hell are you rich enough to get tanky, get your wriggles and afford items like gunblades and void staffs, you're a jungler.

Junglers need farm like any other champion. Udyr, Gangplank, and Nocturne need lots of gold to be effective. Being a good jungle-carry requires that you are able to farm as a jungler. It's not rare for me to be second or third to hit 100 creeps as Nocturne, and he has a harder time in the jungle than Udyr does.

You shouldn't require too much from the lanes if they're solid. If there are problems, simply holding lanes or pushing them for your laner is more than enough.

Phoenixdyr has the following over Tigerdyr:

1. Faster and safer initial clear of the jungle
2. Better presence in teamfights due to having a very spammible AoE nuke that is able to be used much more often than Tiger Stance, while also scaling directly off of Attack Speed as well as Ability Power. The shield is also more effective.
3. Better ability to itemize (Razors -> Boots -> Gunblade/Wits End is hideously strong on him and he has excellent options for every possibility). AP/AS items generally have a bigger pool of effective items to choose from.
4. Very fast level 2 gank after Golem-Wolves-Wraiths if required (I've never had enough HP to gank at that point)
5. Blind stops Tiger Stance's DoT from going off; it doesn't stop Phoenixdyr's proc every 3 attacks.

Yeah, I've been using Warwick. I was going to try out Nunu but then I read a bunch of shit about how he's worthless as a jungler without runes, which I obviously don't have. I have Udyr but his character style is intimidating for me (with the different stances).

My thing with Warwick is that he's not exactly a great ganker until level 6... I actually tried fucking around with Lee Sin, but I couldn't survive past the first creeps :(

Whenabouts can I solo dragon?

I know ganks are important but that's going to come with practice and is also very situational based on enemy positioning, right?

@MoS: Is that list of junglers only if you have proper runes/masteries? Like, Warwick was fine and easy to use in jungle without a bunch of runes/masteries, but I tried Lee Sin and got pwned.

Off the top of my head, you should be able to jungle without perfect setups on these champs (and maybe a few more):

Udyr
Rammus
Nocturne
Warwick
Nunu
Yi

The other junglers may require more setup to use. I haven't used them all, so I can't say for sure.

Nunu is incredibily easy to get around with, depending on how save you play it. If you start with pots and armor you can get very far, without most runes, esspecially if you start on a safer jungling path. The problem is coming out of the jungle. You don't have a stun, meaning your ganks are maybe a little less terrifying then udyr/ww/mummy, but the real problem is how he falls off endgame. So, to maximise the effect with Nunu, you kinda want to start without the standard jungle items to get ready for fights asap (with everything I believe it isn't unknown to start boots on nunu) and you'll need runes for that.

WW, up to a point, has the same problem, but in late game, he at least got his ult.

But if you want to learn this, Udyr should be your choice, I think. Udyr pretty much has the easiest jungle at this moment, his ganking with bear is pretty intimidating and lategame you can dish out quite a bit of damage if the opponents team isn't too coordinated. Stances might seem intimidating, but at a certain time you are more making series then actually seeing in what stance you want to be. And those series are really not that hard to remember (or find out), since they are mostly turtle and pheonix or tiger, depending on your build. All in all, udyr should give you a decent idea what jungle routes are, and how and when to gank.
Surrender, imagine and of course wear something nice.

don't let yourself get intimidated by any character, or you'll have problems later on down the line (also, variety is the spice of life)

you need practice, create a custom game and dick around with the jungle for a while

situational, in any game where people are buying wards (AKA your opponents are good enough to worry about) you're not going to be soloing dragon pretty much at all (except in certain odd circumstances)

it also depends on items, champ, etc.

you need to be able to gank to be able to jungle, if you can't gank then you're less than useless to your team

I think he knows that and is asking a question of how do you know when to gank?

I say that in the nicest way possible for being aimed at someone who forgot Cho.

Cho isn't a good jungler, I mean he can do it no problem and decently quickly as spikes / passive give great sustained damage and regend but his ganks are fairly awful and he's not very good at killing things like Dragons/Buffs.

Also unlike Ammumu / Rammus is a touch more item dependant and most of all unlike those two he's actually good in lane.

Then two, then three, then a month
Then the rest of your life, you beat yourself up

Finally, got my Amumu jungle sweep uploaded. It's just a brief intro to how to start with amumu, and Youtube messed up the video quality and audio sync, but it'll do for now.
