Slaxx sat alone in his tent as he downed the last of the bottle. His mind and body were both numb, but it didn't matter. He had done everything he could to escape last night and nothing worked. Faraday suddenly walked in.

"They want you to...uh...take care of another one", he said.

Slaxx shook his head. "How can you expect me to do that again...and since when was it even my job?"

"You enjoy the best tents, the best supplies, the highest quality alcohol", Faraday paused and surveyed the tent. "A privilege I see you abused. They trust you and they feel you deserve it for getting them this far. You should find the blind faith they put in you to be a compliment in addition to an obligation in return for these things. Not a burden... Every crowd needs a leader", he finished.

Slaxx chuckled.

"Hey, you know who else said that? CSL. And, if you haven't noticed, he's dead. By my hands."

Slaxx rose from his seat and stepped outside. The crowd hovered around AV. He picked up a nearby shovel and swung it wildly near the crowd.

"I didn't DO it. He's lying!"

Palisade smiled and shook his head.

"You've been caught buddy, give up. You are a murderer", he said softly.

Slaxx walked up behind AV and smashed the empty bottle across his head. He fell to the ground, dropping the shovel at his side. Slaxx picked it up and offered it to the crowd.

"If you want him dead so bad, you do it. I'm not taking another life", he announced.

Palisade grabbed the shovel and began to beat AV's head in.

"THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR KILLING MY SON YOU DRUNKEN BASTARD!" he screamed.

The crowd fell quiet. Slaxx walked up to Palisade.

"What?", he hissed.

"You weren't here then," Palisade hesitated, "he...he decided it would be a good idea to take my son hunting out into the woods. He was 18, able to take care of himself...but they stumbled upon three cannibals", he began to tear up. Slaxx listened quietly. Palisade continued in a soft voice, "instead of going back, AV decided he could take them on. Too bad his decision was impaired by alcohol. It was the wrong decision and he was the one that got away. Its been my goal ever since...you see that? A fitting death for a drunk. Beat upside the head with a bottle of beer". Palisade cackled, then his eyes locked onto Slaxx. He grabbed the shovel with both hands and took a swing. Slaxx fell to the ground, dazed and deaf. Palisade went running into the woods.

Slaxx looked up at the sky, then everything went black.

, fulfilled his win condition and left the game Day 2.

48 hours for night actions people.

Fate took a step outside to calm his nerves. He breathed in the night fog and exhaled. He looked around carefully, then chose a nearby tree stump to sit on. He hummed a bit of music to himself, but it was so windy the breeze swallowed his mellow tune. He surveyed the landscape. He was maybe 50 yards from the camp. The hot embers of the burned out campfire were just barely visible in the fog. It was peaceful out here.

Fate needed this. He had always been a bit high-strung, constantly screaming at the other villagers. He had even caused a few of those with weaker resolutions to shed some tears. It was all in the name of justice though. Anything to help him hunt down those who threatened his new home. These people welcomed him into their camp with open arms just a few weeks ago. He was surprised his untimely arrival didn't catch him more heat. Maybe it was because everyone was intimidated by him.

Lost deep in thought, Fate began to fall into a light sleep. It was interrupted by a pair of hands clasped around his neck from behind. He struggled for air, kicking up ash and dirt as he tried to break free. A huge cloud formed, and he heard the person behind him choking. He managed to break free and began to dash back to the camp. He was about 30 yards away when another person tackled him from the side, dislocating his shoulder. Fate wailed in pain.

"Yeah you loud mouth do what you do best", the assailant sneered. He reached into his backpack to reveal a knife. "Squeal little piggy, its too late. You're done for buddy", he taunted. Fate began to wail incoherent vulgarities, but was quickly silenced by the sharp end of his hunter's blade. He felt a sharp pain in his chest, then faded out of consciousness.

Hearing the squeal back at camp, Slaxx rushed out of camp, trying to pinpoint the location of the noise. Unfortunately, there was only one squeal. He searched alone, circling the whole perimeter, but it had been to long. The sun was peaking over the horizon and whoever did this was back at camp. Slaxx woke everyone in the camp up and alerted them immediately.

"Another person has died by hands of the cannibals", Slaxx continued, "Fate is missing from his tent, and I heard a noise a while back. I don't think he's coming back".

The crowd moaned. Yet another villager gone. Slaxx rushed to Faraday's tent to find him awake, sitting on the edge of his cot.

"Why don't you take over? Why don't you help?", he said harshly.

Slaxx sighed and shook his head. Because they can figure it out, I have faith in them.

"Its pretty stupid to have faith in times like this Slaxx, nothing is going to be handed to you", Fate countered.

"No, in times like these, you need faith more than ever", Slaxx said, as he walked out of the tent.
