It gets incredibly frustrating real fast when I keep taking 300 damage or getting nuked down because I can't move away from danger. It's even worse when it causes me to lose CS

Ok so I feel that Xerath needs a small damage buff. His burst just doesn't do enough damage. like I'm talking just enough that I can kill creeps at higher levels with my q without having to anchor.

As always I need to work on my last hitting though.

He has range! If he had a strong burst too he'd be the best mage ever.

From a theoretical point of view: isn't Xerath's passive (cool as it may be) not conflicting with the way you want to play him? I mean, in the ideal game, xerath never gets close to an enemy. If he can he kites his enemies with his stun+speed boost. In teamfights he's far in the back and hopefully never sees any enemy at all. I mean, you have a caster with huge range: why would you want armor? You want AP, cooldown, MR pen, etc. Everything that would increase the damage you can do while they can't hurt you back.

I honestly don't think at this point that xerath needs any kind of buff.

I played some games yesterday where Xerath would anchor himself out of range even out of LoS of us and would use his incredibly high range to start getting our hp down.when he takes this position in a team fight, it can be incredibly hard to get to him and take him out, meaning that he has quite a sustained damage role in a team fight. His damage cannot be as high as brand's for instance because of his incredible range. I think he's balanced as is.

Funilly enough, when i've solo or duo queued i've found that rank games are less likely to see this kind of QQ or at least it's only to the same level as in normal games. I wouldn't let whiners put you off, just repeat something at them each time they moan or ignore them completely. a 'lol' after everything seems to work.
