Both of these statements are true.

My feeling on the RVS is that it doesn't actually pressure anyone to do/reveal anything useful unless the player is a complete moron. However, I will concede that I haven't been a part of the scum hunt in these forums so I guess I will see how things play out a bit while being as useful as possible.

We're out of the RVS. People that are voting now are either voting based on suspicions, or voting to pressure, or voting for other non-random reasons (hence the term RVS, which we are no longer in).

The prevailing "wisdom" over at Epic Mafia is to No Lynch a lot (always on D1) and let the Cop do his or her business, clearing or condemning the players. Theoretically, this makes the game last longer and have more days, and lynches only occur when you're certain or whatever.

It's an asinine "strategy".

It's also been talked to death in MD and elsewhere and there's no need to continue discussing it here. Suffice to say that Yates' NL suggestion is null.

You guys need to FUCKING SIGN YOUR GODDAMNED POST if you're both going to be posting in here. Originally it was only ONE FUCKING PLAYER PER GAME and now both of you are posting and I have no clue who I'm talking to. Allow me to explain my posts:

- I responded to a case I assume was made by #2.
- ??? only responded by saying "Our vote was on triangle"

and

"I haven't read the case yet"/"You have me a little alarmed"
- I say "what" in response to FoN saying "I haven't read the case yet".
- FoN #2 responds by saying "You know what you've done wrong, bite me" which is still the furthest thing from a case I can actually see

I refuse to play with a hydra that keeps itself anonymous, uses meta on people without allowing us to use meta on it, and posts to be purposefully confusing. Resolve this shit now or I'm replacing out because you can be DAMN sure I'm not putting up with an entire game of this shit.

Um, SDC is far from anonymous. It's me/SpyreX/Fate/SocioPath/Elli, and we announce who the heads are in each game. And AFAIK we've only been in TWO games with the SDC hydra: DEFCON 3.0 (me/Fate), and uPick Fantasy Camp (me/SpyreX, later me/Fate). Please tell me how we're at all an anonymous hydra.

And what are you pointing out about me voting for an entire wagon and saying it's scummy? What game was this? And, better question, what does this have to do with ANYTHING we're talking about?

I'm not complaining that I need meta. What I am complaining about, though, is that the FoN hydra feels all fine and dandy using meta on others, but won't announce who is in its hydra, thereby protecting itself from any similar meta cases to be used against it. It's imbalanced, and reeks of insecurity. "Hold your cards as close as possible so you don't get caught" or something.

For whoever said "FoN is town because Llamarble played this way in another game", keep in mind we don't actually know if it's Llamarble posting, because they've admitted as much that there have been at least two heads posting so far.

replace out. I joined a NORMAL game because I didn't want any fucking shenanigans, and here's a hydra in a normal game who refuses to play as a single unit OR sign posts with the members. I've been on record A BILLION FUCKING TIMES as saying a hydra is only acceptable if it plays as one single voice (a la Reckamonic), or if they sign their posts so we can see who is who (a la several other hydras). FoN is doing neither, and it's frustrating the shit out of me and making me not want to read the game.

One of them says he thinks there are better lynches than me today but I'm making him paranoid; the other says I'm 100% scum and refuses to address my defense against his case. This isn't even a matter of putting this on a pro-town/anti-town scale, it's matter of making the game completely unfun.

So I'll ask FoN one more time: are you going to actually play correctly, or are you going to continue being a twat?

I have been given this asinine role. I don't understand why the moderator is telling me I will appear guilty as town. It is bullshit. I have to deal with this 2-7 offsuit, though, so I will use it to the best of my ability and claim this negativity so that I may be lynched if we do not find someone who scumslips.
