I do lane amumu as a gimmick and I do so with 0 intention of doing well (yet somehow outfarm a twitch in mid cuz lolbads). That said junglemummy > lanemummy if only for pure ganking pleasure (and the fact he has no ranged harass and the fact he can't really "support" a lane etc).don't you feel silly now?- Elmo

The difference between "Ashe can't jungle" and "Ashe can jungle, but she's really bad at it" is basically the skill level at which you have a significantly higher chance of losing if you do that; it becomes impractical, or "not viable" to use a more common phrase. Lane Amumu is only viable against fairly poor opposition, because he's a melee champion who doesn't farm well, can't poke, and doesn't make relatively good use of the gold if you do farm it up. Imagine Amumu vs. Nasus top; obviously Nasus can farm freely and is better off for it. Against Caitlyn, he just gets repeatedly poked to death. Annie will both outfarm him and blow him sky high at six. And so on.
Almost anything is viable if you're either sufficiently better that your opponents, or they're bad enough in absolute terms to not counter it correctly; that doesn't mean it's actually good. Case in point.Succinctness is pro-town.

So graves is a ton of fun, has great earlygame poke, and feels really tight. Like nothing feels glitchy or sticky and everything is very responsive. Like the little delay when caitlyn shoots her net and her piltover peacemaker, he has none of that.
His dash, in particular, is incredibly satisfying to me. The animation, distance, and attack speed steroid is great. He also seems to scale well with cd reduction, if only his ult did a little more aoe damage it would be justifiable to itemize for it. (It's a 32ish second cooldown, his dash is like a 5-6 second, his q is pretty low and I don't remember his smoke bomb cd).
His smoke bomb also seems amazing, especially when checking bushes and stuff. It's kind of a free win against other ranged carries. Either they have to move closer to you or disengage and eat harass. Either way it's kind of free damage for graves.Untrod Tripod (7:27:18 PM): you enjoy whoring

I don't understand why people think TF is UP. He has shit tons of utility (even after the nerf to his ult), and he does some pretty crazy burst.
It always seems to be the people who build him AD are the ones that think he needs a buff.
I personally think he's okay where he's at. A buff to the range of his autoattacks would be a nice QoL buff, especially after nerfing the range of his ult so hard but w/e. I can live without it.
On a somewhat similar note, It disappoints me reading the LoL forums and seeing the 70% of people who think they know better than pro gamers or the Riot staff.or something like that....- SomeRandomGuy

It may just be me, but graves numbers look pretty silly. Comparing his dash to tristana's Q, tristana gets 90% attack speed for 7 seconds on a 20 second cooldown. Graves gets 80% attack speed for 4 seconds on a 14 second cooldown. Tristana is the queen of single target damage in this game, only really outclassed in that respect by Kog'maw. As a result, Graves lategame damage is guaranteed to pretty lulzy.
But it doesn't stop there, because graves also has two damage dealing skills that scale off of AD. His buckshot - I dont know whether the scaling is 0.8 total per point of ad or 0.8 per hit (which would be pretty crazy) but whatever the situation, building more ad adds to his burst. His ult also has a pretty decent ad ratio.
And then there's his w, which to compare to a pretty similar skill - miss fortune's make it rain - it does slightly less damage, but instantly, slows a tiny bit less, lasts 3 seconds longer and BLINDS.
I understand that he's short range, relatively unsafe, etc - though do bear in mind that by the end of the game he's getting 40 armour/mr from his passive - but his damage numbers look totally out of whack. Hes going to do a lot of upfront burst due to his two ad scaling skills and then he's going to do a lot of sustained damage to follow it up.
