@Per: Where did you get all these strange theories from, by the way. Like "lynching cops to test their claims" or likewise "lynching claimed millers to test them" in Back to the Future Mafia (he was town in that game, and pretty obviously as far as I can remember...)?

Lynch cop to test claim- Kind of a standard. In the newbie style games there is one of four setups, two of which contain a cop. However, since scum know alignments, they can claim cop with results of so-and-so is town. And they may be. But you don't know if you have a cop or scum pretending until you lynch the person to verify results. SOP as far as I know.
The cop can off course be confirmed in other ways. But in a game like this were scum picks the roles, do you think it's best for town to just accept your results?

Lynch millers- doesn't apply here, but generally accepted that you don't let millers live to lylo, since only their death can confirm them.

2) Shadow's gambit could have clearly been misinterpreted by Tim, that didn't feel like a pro-town way to use that. However, the fact of only having one point in the kill is acceptable. At the current moment, his investigations are only semi-reliable.
3) My actual skill build is of no importance. Maybe I'm a 3-point PGO, or perhaps a tracker. Doesn't affect much right now.
4) Flinter sounds like the best lynch today.

VOTE:Flinter

1. No.
2. Sure.
3. Speculate with us here. What kind of TOWN Red Wizard doesn't get tracker? Assuming any competency on your part, a town aligned Red Wizard has AT LEAST 1 point in tracker if not more. A town PGO, by choice? C'mon now.
4. Any particular reason? Maybe tracked him to the NK attempt?

Want way more, RBT.

PeregrineV, would love your reads on Shadow Dancer

Recently, because of his loss of powers, I almost want him dead to verify the two "town" results. It would make me feel tons better.

Nominally, I would like Shadow to hammer RBT so that if actual PGO (likely, since RBT sure as hell hasn't provided tracking results) the work can be done for us.

But, in all honestly, I would want more time to ISO and re-read his interactions. This won't happen until Monday.

I just re-read this. I see your #3, and I see this for Red Wizard:

Granted. I don't think it's time for another quickhammer either. Your hammer plan doesn't work, read the skill description: If Rice put a firebomb at her feet it would only be triggered by night kills.

Nope, his flip is unaffected by "Blind Faith". The "godfather" element only affects investigations.

My thoughts on fate vs pinkie pie:
Fate has a tendency to go 1v1 on people.
He wants to lynch katsuki because of meta (which even though is plausible -> I dont think katsuki would repeat the same things if she was scum in this game)
Oversoul reminds me of me-too and fate of bigdog. Idk.

First post by kiwi, commenting on the daykill and subsequent reaction of Fate. He explains to the town what Fate says shouldn't be taken as serious, because "Gate has a tendency to go 1v1 on people" and further defends katsuki because of meta. All in all, for someone not voting Fate, kiwi takes a very pro-pinkie pie stance.

kiwieagle wrote:My point was: the wagon is bad, oversoul is a bit scummy

fate is just null because he always likes to quicklynch/get someone to L-1 pretty quick.

kiwieagle wrote:I already answered your first question.

and...
not really.

He votes the mod -> null
he fakes a dayvig -> I have seen this alot. Null.
calls fate derp -> Even though he might of done it before when he was scum (According to fate?), unless katsuki is stupid I dont see why she would call him derp again if shes scum

kiwieagle wrote:Actually just so you dont have to go look for it:
The wagon is COMPLETELY based on meta.

These are posts from the next 20 posts after kiwi's first. He becomes more definate in defending Pinkie-Pie, while never actually expressing why he would think Pinkie Pie was town. It's weird, because in all those posts till then, Pinkie Pie showed little scumhunting or other things from which you might see that they are town.

Then, at the 400th post, kiwi makes his second vote of the game, leaving Junpei (who he voted in his first post), and voting Pinkie Pie. This might seem to favor kiwi, since at that point he brought Pinkie Pie to 5 votes, while Fate was at 4. He didn't prefer the counterwagon. But then look at his post:

kiwieagle wrote:Also I honestly dont know why katsuki would flake unless she knows shes gonna get lynched (as scum?) and doesnt want Fate to laugh at her after getting caught so quickly(?)

vote: PP

The reason given sounds as if he's sorry for Pinkie Pie, and shows the expectation that Pinkie Pie is going to be lynched anyway. Which was true. The wagon on Fate was largely without a case, while evidence on Pinkie Pie was numerous. And the reason kiwi gives feels like the kind of reason you would give when you bus: "sorry buddy, but this lynch is going to happen anyway, I better be a part of it". Between this vote and the defending of Pinkie Pie there was no mention of Pinkie Pie, and moreover, barely any scumhunting. While the game advanced over 300 posts, most of what kiwi added to the game was talking about his role. I think Kiwi is scum.

vote kiwieagle

flinter wrote:Hello everybody. I see you started without me. The daykill on Fate is apparently a joke. I don't think I think it's a particulary nice joke. Fate does overreact though. Also Fate, I know you like it, but could you please cut down on the caps? For me? Thank you in advance.

I don't want to touch the daykill madness yet. It's actually not that interesting. It's more fun to look who's hiding in the shadows, or plain in the open.

Hinduragi wrote:
Vote: Pinkie Pie

First post of the game and a joke of a vote for the mod? Terrible. Picking a proper target wouldn't have made you this obvious, at least.

Hinduragi wrote:^LOL

I'm calling bullshit on that Daykill. One-shot since it's public AND you use it on Fate on DAY ONE? Fuck no. Die.

These are in my opinion the most defining posts of Hinduragi till now. The first might be seen as trying to get discussion going, but what it has in common with the second makes me think it isn't. Hinduragi thinks something odd is going on (I don't buy the dayvig, because you wouldn't use it on Fate: you are going to be lynched). He doesn't consider the fact that this action is just as effective as scum or as town. In both cases, hindu doesn't scumhunt. He votes for suboptimal play.

Now, if you were scum, would you vote for townies making mistakes? I'd think so.

vote hindu

You realize now that he's going to caps MORE just to spite you?

The fact that you challenge him to do so might make it happen. It depends how nice Fate is feeling. It would improve my enjoyment in the game if he could contain himself a bit. The least I can do is ask him nicely if he could do that for me.

flinter wrote:I think I'm going to like kiwieagle. His posts might be short, but they show good common sense and decent reads.

The post below I liked less, not because of the person, but because of what he says.

Junpei wrote:Thoughts on Fate?

Honestly, there is so much rage going on that I'm a little confused, but I won't state confusion as a read, so I will tell you that I find Fate scummy. Fate is doing completely irrational things such as demanding full claims, being very prone to latching onto something and claiming it to be more true than it is. He also likes to hide behind the meta-mask when discussing himself.

In fact, since I haven't voted yet, and on reflection Fate seems deserving:

Vote: Fate

pedit: Hindu, how does you using every HTML code in two dead QTs describe how you know that you don't use bold in Scum QTs? I'm curious now.

In my opinion, this vote makes little sense. I mean, Junpei admits he's confused and somehow from that comes that he thinks Fate is scummy. Sentences like "He also likes to hide behind the meta-mask when discussing himself." are pieces of evidence that can be used against scum or town. In short, this vote is rather uninpressive.

Hinduragi wrote:And RBT has been posting the ENTIRE time elsewhere. God, I wish Parama was here.

Why did you think you should notify everybody about this, but do nothing about it yourself?

thats all you have ever posted in day 1.

Which is pretty much:
1. You deny commenting on the daykill
2. Call hindu scum because she voted PP (which at that moment I pretty much considered borderline RVS)
3. Tell Fate to calm down
4. Call me town

thats ALL

(let me remind you that D1 was pretty short)

also

unvote

VOTE: RBT (cause im following fate due to etc. etc.)

okay fate, if it gets to L-1 soon, I think I might just hammer. But I really want RBT to post and actually throw down a vote. And want the somewhat scummy players (rbt, kiwi, peregrineV, maaaybe flinter) and null players (shadowdancer, maaybe OS) to vote/go at each others throats while town(you, me, maybe hinduragi, maybe OS) eat popcorn.

oh and you think shadowdancer is town but fate is scum.

If thats the case, why dont you believe SD innocent on fate?

forgot to respond to this. probably not worth it, but I think fate is confirmed town. still doesn't mean I have to walk on eggshells around him and vice versa. shadowdancer isn't confirmed town and loses much towncred for today. I drained fate, and have meta on him if it matters. this statement is a reach. If 2 ppl being scum in terms of what your're saying Something remotely possible would be shadow moon and fate both being scum, but I really doubt that. much more likely just shadow dancer, but even that Idk. Mainly, you should have silenced yourself, and I don't think Fate is scum at all.

Both you and Fate are confirmed by Shadow... why do you *think* that he is not town? That implies you have insider knowledge and you know that Shadow is lieing about his investigations.

RBT has continued to be useless and is just general deadweight. How could we go from lynching scum day 1 to being so horrible now? :c
