If I was scum or we were both scum, I'd obviously know fake-claims existed in the level of detail Sera explained his millerness and it would have been a non-issue. This doesn't eliminate the possiblity of Sera being scum and having a fake-claim in a very detailed and unlikely amount of detail, but it should be pretty darn clear that I do not have a fake-claim.
