It is because there are spammers posting threads that are not approved, which you can't see. They're there, though.

I just killed the most recent one.

It comes from unapproved (spammer) topics on Help! We could probably rework the notifier so it doesn't count those...

Could you do that please?

Also at some point it just wasn't updating. I've marked forums read about a dozen times and there were still new posts.

If you had this problem today, there were two 'unapproved' spam threads that I just annihilated.

Hey Flay and Kise - I really like the new quote function that posts the post number and the link to the post is especially sexy and I hate to complain about something so awesome and something I asked for but I think it would be better to be reformatted instead of saying "in Post 123, xvart said..." to say "xvart, in post 123, said..." or something like that so that the name is first as it is the most important part. Really though, it's awesome, and I could be the only one so whatever you guys decide to do is cool with me. I'm just glad it was implemented.
I only read quote walls.

I think the way it is now is more natural to say out loud, but the other way is fine, too (another site I'm on formats it as
In reply to USERNAME, #XXX:
, where USERNAME is replaced with the obvious and XXX is replaced with a number).

Another site I'm on, interestingly enough, accompanies the username with a timestamp instead of a post number when you quote the message.

Oh, and is there any way to force an edit statement when you edit a post rather than it only showing if you edit after someone makes a subsequent post?

I like ninja edits before posts. That totally ruins the ninja-ness.

Yes... but I'm not sure there's strong demand, since we already don't allow edits in Mafia games. Can you elaborate on some use cases?

I've done forum games where the rules don't allow for edits either.

I see in the first post that scuMobile and mafTigers have the same priority, yet we have one and not the other.

Any news on my favorite skin?

No problem. Mobile is VERY much a work in progress, and I got stumped on Tigers when a) my original graphics volunteer flaked out, and b) I lost track of the font we used on the original board.

Mobile isn't really done, either, but that doesn't mean Tigers won't happen. The Art usergroup is a good place to try to kickstart that if you've got talents to offer, too.

Did you mean Art Group, or Coding and Design? I would think a skin would be in the latter group, but what do I know.

He meant the former, new skins don't really require much/any new programming.

Wish list: Any chance at all of making the reply window bigger, or perhaps individually adjustable?

You can adjust it in Firefox.

Mine doesn't have that fancy-schmancy handle. Do you perhaps have an extension or add-on that I don't?
