Equality is a perversion of the natural order!It binds the strong to the weak. They [the weak] become anchors that drag the exceptional down to mediocrity. Individuals destined and deserving of greatness have it denied them. They [the strong] suffer for the sake of keeping them even with their inferiors.- RedCoyote

I don't know how much I can be held to task for this when it seems like a total of three people in this game are even willing to acknowledge my existence. This isn't a bid for attention mind you, but the fact of the matter is very few people are following up with me.
Additionally, I don't know how diddin would qualify as the "largest available wagon". You're going to have to run that one by me once more.
As for SB, nothing he has said has been able to justify his earlier reluctance to vote for fear of "quicklynching" in a 25-person game or his issue with revoting after making some noise about having an RVS vote too long. This is not my favorite candidate to be lynched today, but I think he's the best, most reasonable choice at the moment. I don't think the claim should make much of a difference. It's unfortunate he claimed to have an ability, but it would be worse to hastily force another candidate to claim and potentially reveal the location of an even better ability to the scum.

KDub not having the balls to take his shot independently of public opinion is troubling for reasons already given. If KDub is that concerned about not offending people with his shot, then he should just shoot the player with the most votes.- RedCoyote

Sorry, I missed this.
The case is beside the point. I'm not speaking to the case's validity or supposed lack of validity, but the fact of the matter is DGB pretty clearly explained why she disliked nopoint (because his rhetoric was imprecise and garbled). Then you go a little crazy about how DGB is being irresponsible for not laying out a case against nopoint. Well, I disagree with that and I'm suspicious of the fact that you used that post to jump on her. It felt insincere. You continuing to beat the drum makes me feel like I've touched a bit of a nerve, so we'll see how it plays out.- Furcolow

Agree with this. Fourseen is the type of player you shoot, as they can cost us the game in the end.
@Kdub: I don't like what your doing. You put the day vig ability in danger. Then you give up the responsibility of a day kill by asking for input on who you should shoot. If you shoot scum, some will view you as town. If you shoot town, most will view you still as town since it was not you who made the decision, but it was everyone.
Post 689 of yours: The post sounds like you are doing this to avoid the responsibilty 100%.
@MoI: What is the benefit of keeping the hider ability in-game?- Kdub

I am in agreement that SB probably should be given N1 to use his ability. I think we should hear from nopoint.
RedCoyote wrote:It's unfortunate he claimed to have an ability, but it would be worse to hastily force another candidate to claim and potentially reveal the location of an even better ability to the scum.
This reads as a bit of a slip to me. The mindset of a townie who thinks SB is scum even in light of his claim should be focused on why his claim is likely false rather than worrying about revealing another ability to the scum (implying SB's ability was itself a "reveal" to the scum, implying SB is not scum).
@ RC, Bunny, etc.
I did not choose to use my ability this way to get town cred or anything like that. I am fully aware that it does not clear me, nor should it. I am using it in a way that I think will provide the most information today. Using it this way is effectively turning this into a double day. If, by letting people direct my shot, I am allowing scum to try to manipulate the general sentiment away from them and onto others, that is a GOOD thing in the long term. Hopefully you see why.Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Mafia - 17-player large theme, currently needs (0) replacements- Junpei

Is this what we are going bananas over keeping? This role is pretty bad, in my opinion, unless we direct it, which is still bad. If he's scum he'll just say he visited a townie or a scum pal (pure wifom) and thats why he lived, if he's town then he has a chance of death wherein we learn nothing, and a chance of life wherein we have to lynch him to get 1 clear for not likely a long period of time.
This role doesn't seem like something we should stall a wagon over.- Magister Ludi

How does it confirm town and catch scum?
Let me just use my psychic powers to figure out where Stringer visited when he died... oh wait.
Also if we direct it, scum could potentially mess with the results, or simply kill the target.- implosion

it confirms town when he survives and claims his target.
It can't really confirm scum.- implosion

Anyway, as for this game: i feel like my reads are kind of bad right now. My gut says warrior is scum, which is probably a combination of the way that he's lurking and just the way he's said things, and I still see npiau as somewhat scummy.- Junpei

So...
1) Hider IF town confirms a town
2) You are waffling on your scum read of warrior
3) You have a weak scumread on NPIAU.
Do you have any opinions that are definite? Who should be shot? Who should be lynched?- implosion

I don't have strong opinions right now. Like I said, I find it difficult to get strong reads early in large games. I have town reads (DGB, probably RC for his response to my question, toog, and others) but they aren't as useful early game as they are late game.
As a player, i find it easier to townhunt than to scumhunt. Townhunting isn't as useful on day one as scumhunting.- Junpei

So basically you're saying:
"yes i'm coasting and being noncommittable, but that's just what I always do day 1"
That's not okay, get better at the game, you can't just fall back on "well, I'm bad". You can't draw the noob card when your join date is 2010 and you have played many mafia games, you should have strong opinions on SOME things.- nopointinactingup

I haveoverflow(2 shot cycling freezer). It's able to freeze the cycling choice of a person for one night
With that, I strongly agree with shooting Fourseen and running up Magister Ludi. There's a strong probability that both of them are scum.
Just look at my wagon.
DBG no longer thinks I'm that scummy but for some reason her vote is still on me
Magister Ludi is pushing me because I'm pushing him and he provides no case
Toog doesn't like Bunnylover, thus votes me because I'm the one with a wagon
Implosion doesn't speak about me all game and vote me because it's a weak scum read
Furcolow votes me because I forgot to post a response to his questions
There's not a single legitimate vote on me and Magister trolls like the world has no ends
Kdub, you have to make your choiceright nowin your next post, we don't have much time left.
@Town: This is just in case I die
1> If Kdub shoots me, chances are he's scum with ML. I personally think a DayVig should have claimed at the start of the day, not when there's 3 days left. And the "compromise" votes on my makes it worse.
2> Vote/Block/Lynch/Vig MAGISTER LUDI. His scum team is likely Toog/Kdub/Fourseen maybe DBG/Implosion
3> People who are town: bunnylover, wazzatron, ghoslin, projectmattJustice will prevail

This sounds like a scum ability in my opinion as it allows for scum to circumvent the poisoning and keep an ability on themselves for 2 Nights.
Has Stringer explicitly stated that the Hider dies if it hides behind scum? Are we sure that it's not a Universal Hider that can hide behind anyone, because that doesn't confirm anyone. - Toogeloo
