Given what I know, I am not totally convinced that there is not a second scum team. It is in the realm of possibility that there is only one, but I find it unlikely. A third party, given past events, seems likely.

I'm still chipping away at this thread completely out of sequence. Updated (but still not complete) reads:

-Firstly, this is not a read, but your Queen and Regent hereby declares all heavy roleplaying beyond this point to be a lynchable offence in the Seven Kingdoms. That goes triple for voting for someone by character name instead of playername. It was cute on page two, but not anymore.

-Okay, I just reread FourseenCircumstances, and...wow. Every post he's made all game has been scummy and useless. Somehow, I think his excuse for his vote on Oversoul and later retraction when called on it was pulled out of his ass. (Players who play that badly don't roleplay for the first few pages of the game and then only hop onto the largest wagon "for pressure.")

-My vote on Monday was because her explanation of her CES vote was pretty terrible. But also, I know her from off-site and was hoping to get a reaction. She plays Mafia on the asoiaf.westeros.org boards with me and Faraday.

-Read Plum in ISO, and feeling somewhat better about her. Her later posts when she stops roleplaying show her thought processes in great detail and make some good points. For example, this sounds really natural:

But I keep coming across posts like this that sound like emotional town. One thing I hate, however--why the fuck do you keep voting whoever Benmage tells you to? First greenknight, then MoS? WTF? Oversoul, do you suspect either greenknight or MOS? (Sorry if you've answered this already, but the thread is 25 pages long.) Also...um, apparently, Oversoul has already claimed VT (although I missed it). Well, why hasn't he claimed why his PM is in blue/non-red right now? Who is he aligned with, if not with the crown?

-Changing my read on Benmage to obvtown.

-ISO'd CES, and am now leaning slight scum on him. Basically, the one point in his favour is that he seemed to be testing if I told the truth about my list (because he knew I couldn't have placed Cersei lower than second). Also, his vote for me makes sense. But it's not like I'd lie about my list as scum, anyway. I feel like he's more concerned about appearances than usual (for example, his "not fickle, bloodthirsty" post). Also think his essentially saying his only scum read is Plum when questioned seems atypical for CES. Isn't he the one who admitted to bandwagoning for the sake of it afterward?

-Wraith answered my question kind of how I expected it, although I still feel like it's a somewhat dissonant stance. I hope I'm not falling into the trap of calling any big catch-up post protown, but I liked his most recent posts.

-One point in diddin's favour is that rather than hop onto the Oversoul wagon with a set of generic reasons to make it look as though he thought things through, he openly admitted he was sheeping Magua. His posts have been really lazy this game, though. Hey, Magua, you're the one who brought up that you were onto diddin in ASOS. Using your magic diddin-reading skills, do you think he's scum? See any differences between his play here and there?

To be honest, I almost feel as though posting is a waste of time, because I don't feel confidently that anyone is scum and am not embroiled in any back-and-forths, so I'm just going, "Look at my independent townish thoughts!" without actually contributing to the flow of the game.
