RBT has been scum in every game I have been with her. Every time she tries something new, and each time I still catch her for the scum she really is; I guess claiming miller is the new iteration of her little theatrics.

What does the name have to do with the role? Sure it might make some influences, but wouldn't it be a bit unfair if all the roles were based off of the character's roles?

I'll just treat that miller claim like a nulltell, but in my limited experience- I'd be inclined to believe it. Lynch RBT if RBT looks scummy, dont lynch RBT if RBT seems town, lynch RBT before we get to lylo. thats all i think the claim means to me.

Well, as long as I don't claim my role name, we can potentially catch scum for trying to take the character I have. This does however assume they don't have fakeclaims. There's no reason to presume either way, so it's best to keep all information that DOESN'T need to be made public out of scum's hands.

It's also good form to claim miller in your first post if you are.

Or perhaps you can be scum, such as a mafia goon. Due to your reputation as being... lynchbait you most likely assumed you would be investigated first, or something similar. So as a measure you decided to claim miller, and see how far you could get as a 'miller'. Furthermore, it is quite possible that you are not name claiming, because it is quite possible that scum were not given fakeclaims. So as scum, you want to make sure you don't claim someone else's name.

I have no motivation for fakeclaiming miller. If I ever did, it would earn me a reputation of being lynched for it immediately. I have no desire to inflict that upon my faction in any game, so I am not really interested in doing so.

Actually, I got lynched at Mylo, but only because I was quicklynched while being at work...

But, talking to riceballtail has gotten boring. x.x

In all honesty, I am actually slightly leaning towards either Internet Stranger or Klazam.

Why is a miller in lylo bad? I am afraid i am unaware of the stigma against millers.

I think its bad because if RBT is actually claiming miller as a scum tool to prevent a cop-guilty on RBT, so better safe than sorry.

I have seen scum come out and claim miller right away in the past, so as to avoid the usual process of 'there is a guilty, you must be scum' If and when there is a cop investigation. HOWEVER it is also commonly accepted practice for a miller to claim right away. Because if they then have a guilty, questions are asked, well why didn't you tell us earlier?

it's very easy for scum to fakeclaim miller first post. it's harder for scum to think up a character that works with the claim and risk being counterclaimed. Luckily this is a theme game and we can ask for that.

The above post pointed me in the direction of the realization that i was confusing miller and mason. I have only ever played games with masons before.

Not only are things much clearer to me now, but i feel this game could get much more interesting.
