Unable to upload avatars

I'm not sure if it's just because I created this, but I can't upload an avatar. Does anyone know anything about this?

It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image.
The submitted avatar is 0 pixels wide and 0 pixels high. Avatars must be at least 20 pixels wide and 20 pixels high, but no larger than 100 pixels wide and 100 pixels high.

That's the error that I get, if it helps ^

Tried jpg and png, both do the same thing.

ANYTHING I put, I get told "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image"

The image I'm trying to upload is a 64x64 gif, 4.05KB size. I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work, but it don't.

We expect this to be a semi persistent issue for a little while, if it fails just try back later, hohum is on top of it.
