Sorry, you are right. It's not a buff either. The CDR from it's old mastery (5 sec) was transferred to the ability itself.

5sec cooldown reduction! Compared to 0.2 ap per level? Or 0.66 critical strike chance?

anyway, they cleaned that up. You can go full caster, full jungler etc with these masteries. Less useless points spent because you want a higher rank.

How many wards can supports start with if they take the 40 bonus gold?

The last two Fizzs I've seen haven't caught on to the concept of "run in, do some damage, run out, look for next opportunity to repeat"

Though people are catching on to using his playful/trickster to bait certain spells.

ALSO, SHEN'S SHIELD IS OFFICIALLY NOT USELESS.
I HAVE USED IT IN 3 SEPARATE GAMES TO BAIT THE ENEMY RIGHT INTO OUR JUNGLER'S HANDS MUAHAHAHAHAHA
But something should seriously be done, even if it's just increasing the amount of damage it blocks, or even functioning like Nocturne's spell shield to completely nullify one attack. Some of the Reds have posted that they think changes need to head Shen's way but it's not a priority. So even if they made changes now, we wouldn't see them for another few patches :C
or something like that....

Well I may have mixed up colors.

But generally I don't play support on serious games because I know basic warding practices and stuff but counter-warding and complex stuff are beyond me.

thoughts on new things:

I think bruisers want 5-25-0 and HP quints

supports want at least 21 in utility - I think 1-1-28 is best honestly but JD favors a few points in defense. maybe I will start actually playing some supports and trying stuff out

offense masteries for AP are a *little* too good, I suspect a nerf soonish but in the meantime if you build ap there's no excuse not to get 21 offense. 21-0-9 for mana kids 21-9- 0 for no-mana kids

masteries fucking rule for jungling. 21-0-9 ad junglers, 0-21-9 tank junglers, and 9-11-10 aspd junglers are where I'm tentatively making my stand, but jungling is always champ dependent and subject to lots of non-obvious stuff. still though that last page - bladed armor, utility mastery, and the 10% arpen is a pretty winner combo to anyone who gets aspd and jungles with a wriggles

if the other team isn't bothering to buy wards, why would you buy a pink ward in the first place? a pink ward isn't something you place when you don't think the opponent has a ward there - it's something you place only when you do
