Good point actually, he could have said he received a message. And we could have given the "result" with the credibility it deserves, which is not much.

he can't be sure about its veracity

So you totally disregarded the possibility they could be fake information given to you by scum, even though they would lead to a lynch of Hoppster then probably you?

Why not Hoppster? Maybe there was no reason behind it. Maybe it was a random townie. Maybe he said something that was too close for comfort about one or more of the scum.

But I find it very hard to believe that you went with the messages with no evidence at all that they were town, and didn't share this information with us even though you must have known the heat you would come immediately under if Hoppster flipped town.

My vote would be on you if you were not up for dying anyway.
