Last week, when browsing the internet, I found some variations of the game we all love to play. I decided to convert a version and try to play it here (instead of IRL).

The roles are basic mafia roles (well, most of them). The variation is the option to send someone to jail instead of lynching him/her. The jail is a seperate private forum which only prisoners can enter. So the town doesn't know what's going on there. Once in jail, some may return to the free world, but you can also die (without the free world knowing your role).

The voting during daytime differs from normal mafia games. Due to this difference, players must at least check the game every other day. In order to make the game work, only experienced players who are around a lot can play.

Any interest?

With the only difference that the people in jail will know what's going on in the free world (or I could ask jeep to make two private forums ;)).

Yes. A jail is certainly a wonderful idea.

You could even change the wording here to "players must at least check the game every other hour" and I'd still qualify... :)

Definitely interested in playing any high-participation game.

Oh, all right. I'll make an exception just for you then. But you'd better be there every other hour ... ;)

I'll start the sign-up today.

Wow, I definitively want to play in that one. I check the site every day. (Usually every hour when I'm at work  ). Even last week when I did not have time to post I still took a quick look at all the games I'm in every day.

Homeland Security Mafia

It's basically a mafia with US Government roles, and the "mafia" would be members of the .. umm.. well, the name of the mafia group is to be revealed.. Has your President, VP, Sec Def., etc., those sort of roles, 24 player theme game..

Only if it tore our "wonderful" gov't and Bush (yesssssss, bush  ) to shreds. The republicans could use it for screwing this country up.

Ever wonder why that edit button is obnoxiously placed in the center like that? Yeah, that's cause of me.. and trust me, it's better off there.

Homeland Security Mafia and Fantasy Mafia look interesting.

I've got one myself too:

Cyborg Mafia

I don't know the exact things yet, but the players are cyborgs, and they are able to chose their cyborg-upgrades (abilities) out of a list. Anyone interested in something like that?

Similar games have been run but slightly differently I think. If done correctly it should turn out very cool.

Just a question not to seem rude or any thing. Well how does this theme barometer work without anyone updating it?
