the skill floor for playing her competently is one i just barely reach, and i've been playing her for a few months now

So I tried practicing a tank more. It's really hard to play a tank because I have to rely on others to do damage for me... I mean when I lane top and a shyvana just sits in bush and basically forces me to last hit, that's not good. Ugh...

What peg said. You're getting a free chance to farm? Fucking celebrate that shit and stay CONSISTENTLY ahead in items. They bought Madred's Razors? You bought a Wriggle's! They have a Phage, you have a Frozen Mallet!

I think he means that the allied shyv was letting him farm.

That's the only explaination I got.

If you want a tank that does damage go with any of Galio, Rammus, Cho, Singed or Malphite.

Galio gets AP off MR
Rammus gets AD off Armor
Cho has True Damage
Singed gets tanky off mana letting you build a bit of AP to get some DoT
Malphite has an Armor Ratio on his spammable ability.

Well not really. I'm just one of the people who has carried his team back from no nexus turrets to a win in a ranked game. PRO VAYNE. I Love Her. It was awesome. Their Trynd got 28 kills and I was standing toe to toe with him. He had more DPS but I had walls and a good kit. Our rumble was not in any teamfights so we were always fighting 4v5. Then again their twitch was so shit he died before anything happened. Still. Came back from so far behind to end up winning in ranked. Also Second ever Vayne game too.

I just played a terrible game. I was learning Soraka, but I went bot and ended up SOLO against alistair and renekton. Gangplank and Kat sat up the top and I neither would come bot. So they 2v1'd their way to feeding Yi until at about 18 minutes Rammus came out of the jungle and he and I destroyed the enemy team. I basically just healed him and dropped starcall until I had a million kills and he had a million kills.

I had no idea how to build Soraka, so I built archmages and deathfire and other stupid shit that made me heal more as I dropped heavier starfires. Basically played her as a utility mage. Weird game, just a blast.

So I can practice new champs (free week) without all the points in masteries. Also to see if I'm winning because of skill, and not just because of the character carrying me. : D

I don't play to beat up on new people, and I try to help them (rather, my team)

And to practice basics.

I do agree that the teams in those low levels are pretty bad.

I don't buy any champs in my smurf, I just use what's free.

a lot of people like smurfing by referring themselves, getting to 5 for the IP boost for their mains =P Or just to help out other people new to the game without making it *too* difficult for them.

I've found that smurfs are so ridiculously common though, and chances are even if you smurf, the other team will be all smurfs too @_@

I smurf for a couple reasons: 1) teaching lower level friends without going the "sink or swim" route of forcing them to play against people with runes and shit (and I don't go hypercarry), 2) enhancing my ability to make decisions on whether to go in / not, as lower level players often just go very much "follow the leader" with "leader" being whoever is doing the best.

Btw, I tend to actually do rather poorly at lower levels. (MY FLASH I MISS IT SO)

More a matter of I had a fuckton of technical issues which lead to my neck getting shit down due to the d/c'ing, so not much learning or arrogance but a lot of frustration for all parties. That and solo top.

Though the fact I was playing with nuwen might have something to do with it too (I'm kidding).

Admittedly if you didn't have game shut downs / internet shut downs mid-game you'd have a more pleasant experience.

There. That took a while. What happened was, I laned with a yi. He face checked a bush (I expected it) and he came back with half health. Blah blah yi go back to base to heal *yi doesn't respond and just does his own thing* blah blah. Alot of that, and he fed a bit (early game)... But since we put up a good fight, he became a force to be reckoned with. Dunno why.

So we got our inner turret down, but they didn't get our inhib down, and they ALL got killed. I didn't do very well, so it wasn't me carrying or anything. Just great team work (within four people). I also insisted for them to push all the way to their base when they (the whole enemy team) died. I even had them get dragon : D.

Annie was having trouble mid against ryze, so I volunteered to switch with her. Then randomly yi comes mid and leaves her alone. ;-; So after a lil bit I go up top to help her. I went on a suicide mission to kill the almost dead turret. I didn't care. I was vayne. HAH *in Vayne's voice*

My deaths were at the hand of Ryze, Vayne, and ganks that were too much for us because Yi wasn't really always with the team. Just at the end xD

I was also reckless and aggressive

This is my second time using Vayne too
