Ok, so I've been pretty torn between two plans here. Whichever of Haze or bionic faked claimed (I'm not going to say who I think the fakie is), has put the town at a pretty huge advantage, and here is why:

There are 4 shots available on night 1, but only 2 of those shots are pro town shots, the other two will work to benefit the scum and the serial killer. By fake claiming vig, either Haze or bionic has effectively given up their shot and handed it to the town. So now, there could be just 3 shots made on night 1 (I know I am a compulsive vig, but I might have a way around this). If I shoot someone while knowing that kill will not go through, it is in effect a non-shot. Meanwhile, the shot I would have taken had there been no fake claim, is taken by the fake vig. The fakie does my job for me, and I effectively make his shot null and void. Do you see where I'm going with this? There needn't be 2 deaths at the hands of the scum/SK tonight. We have the power to limit our loss to just 1 death, while still following my original plan.

If we decide to go with this line of thought, then Plan A is the one we follow:

Plan A

Basic theory of plan:

• We use the fake vig to take the shot I would have taken.
  
• I target someone that theoretically can't be killed.
  
• If the docs that were protecting the person I shot turn out to be fake later on in the game, and the person I shot survived, then we know that vig is the SK.
  
• The scum doc is forced to protect the person they are supposed to be protecting otherwise they risk outing themselves. This is especially true if the scum doc and goon/doc blocker end up protecting one of the vigs, because they have no idea which vig I will target, and cannot take the chance that I target the vig they are protecting. They will also be forced to protect on the doc train for the same reason.
  
• The doc blocker could target a doc on the doc train, and should one of the vigs happen to target that docs protect, then there would be a death, and that doc would have to be lynched the following day whether or not he was set up. This is a chance that will have to be taken, and one that makes me think Plan A is better than plan B, because we will be saving a death in this plan to make up for that risk.

Or we go go this route, which would provide more info over night 1 and make the plan run its course a little faster, but means we lose the advantage of limiting scum/SK kills to just 1 kill.

Plan B

Basic theory of plan:

• We use all three available kills to narrow down the list of suspects, while controlling how the pool is targeted.
  
• Scum doc is forced to protect their player instead of protecting their own.
  
• Based upon the kills that go thru, we lynch probable scum during the next day.
  
• Plan continues the next night, with alterations being made before end of day 2.

Personally, I think plan A is better, and would prefer to go with that one, but plan B is solid and would work too.

Like we're being given a choice where neither is really great choice, but since there's two, and one is obviously better, the cookie metaphor isn't quite the right one.

I love the choice of words that you've chosen to use instead of "protect", and how they change depending on the people you are talking about.
