Practice with CS'ing is what is key. With someone like teemo, it's actually easier to last hit with your auto since it's got a damage proc.
I'd say look at the number of minions hitting it: if there's two casters it'll lose health at a different rate than if it's a siege and a caster. Take the animation of their attacks into account as well as your own (often the key to getting a minion is timing your auto to hit just after a minion's auto). Basically all auto's have a projectile speed, etc.
On hitting the wrong minion: just make sure the re aura is on the right one.
Always be mobile in lane. There is never a time in lane where you *want* to sit still. Most of the CS'ing mastery comes from practice, though.
If anyone's interested, I'll be streaming some DOTA2 matches tonight. Stream will go up at around 22:00 EST (with Skyrim before that at around 20EST). I play a ton of LoL, so I'm not a complete moba newbie; this will only be my second matchmade game in DOTA2, though.

It's 90% practice and 10% timing. Just keep trying and you'll get it down.

Tenacity is multiplicative. [40% passive + 35% Mercs + 10% Juggernaut] = 65% total cc reduction.

I guess it had to do with something Zileas was talking about how lack of knowledge can create an un-fun mechanic and there are A LOT of people who don't know how to clear the wards when they're on top of Baron.
