...sheesh...this gained steam quick. Can't thoroughly read up here but one thing is clear; Phil is town. That much seems obvious. And what's the big deal about asking for roles from last game...? If anything that's a townish move. I say this every game that I give little credit to meta but other's often use it a lot, so gathering a bit of meta like that is scum-hunting...not a lot, but it's not exactly scummy.

I don't like this post. Phil being town isn't obvious at all, you should point out to us (or to me at least) because I don't understand it. If discussing game mechanics is townish then it doesn't take a lot to appear townie to you. About the roles from last game, that's fluff. But a townish move? Again, I don't see it. Gathering meta about a game that doesn't even exists anymore? (Or was it actually saved and published? Not sure) That's just silly. Or do you have an elephant's memory ? I personally don't, I just remember who I went after and I was right (about Maru & Saint). That's why I don't like Maru's WIFOM about it.


Hypoclaiming isn't perfect but better than nothing in the event that the hider survives long enough. Could be really useful. We just can't rely on it 100% and we should avoid spending too much time on it.

Okay. Enough setup, you're right- on another note, what of claims? (This is more a no knowledge of meta thing than a I need to know cause I'm a PR thing)(Not saying I'm a PR either)

I mean, a vig is great in LyLo, and not too easy for either team to spot, so it makes sense for them to stay hidden until claims are forced, like at lynch point, and similarly with hiders, but with cops or docs, for example, do we have a particular plan for claiming? Would it make sense for a pseudo-investigator like the gunsmith to claim if they think they have something, or do they wait to back up a suspicious claim? And so on...

Feel free to ignore this, it isn't really relevant. More relevantly, VOTE: Unvote, partially to take pressure off what is already kicking off, and partially because I'm starting to form a slightly clearer picture of who you people are.

vigs are useless at lylo, their kill is during night and town loses once 50% of game is mafia. Maybe in mylo, but not lylo.

we can't have typical cops, but role cops, gunsmiths, trackers, docs and jailers should only claim if they are up to be lynched. It's uncommon to have any sort of claim before then but if it gives town critical info then the pr should use their best judgement. pr are better for pushing a strong case on someone they got a condemning verdict on rather than claiming because it doesn't cause them to out themselves.
