But that's not why Fennin voted Slandaar. He admits that Malee just provided a summary and not analysis, but his claimed reason for voting Slandaar was that he somehow inferred that Slandaar was afraid Malee's play would develop into something useful. If he suspected Slandaar for the reason you claim, why didn't he just say that?

Iecerint thinks SD's point is reasonable. For example, it would be more logical for Slandaar to have received a PM, but then forgotten about it, rather than never to have received one whatsoever. Iecerint thinks it is possible that Slandaar could have miscalculated with the explanation for his slow posting, and the explanation could only not match reality as scum.

Iecerint thinks it is also possible that the Mod simply erred, of course, so Iecerint does not want to lynch Slandaar today.

@ Shadow's question: Iecerint also received a PM, in the form of being prodded, which made Iecerint think he had already missed contents, even though very few posts had occurred.

Iecerint entertains two main possibilities:

A) SLANDAARTOWN: DeathNote simply did not give Slandaar a PM for some reason. In other words, ModError.

B) SLANDAARSCUM: Slandaar received a PM, but did not post immediately for whatever reason. Then, upon returning, to account for having not posted, Slandaar claimed not having received a PM on the basis that simply not having posted after receiving one would be incriminating.

Iecerint does not necessarily think B is the truth, but he does think that B is a valid point, especially since A presupposes ModError.

You are accusing Shadow for chainsaw defending both Iecerint and Fennin. Which would require all three to be scum. Doesn't make much sense in my book given you were random voting which also makes no sense.

Doesn't require them to all be scum, just SD. A chainsaw is player C attacks player B for attacking player A.

So you are pressing hard the notion that I am not in fact calling you out on some suspicious behaviour but that I am in fact chainsawing Iec (and keep suggests that I was chainsawing before too, which implies Slan was chainsawed by me, probably against Fennin [this seems to be magna's interpretation at least as it seems]?).

I am pretty sure that
1. my defense of Fennin was far less subtle, i. e. pretty straight outright, and based on the fact that there is simply no well-justified reason to suspect Fennin over lots of others at the moment and that the reason so many people call him scum for (i.e. the breadcrumb issue) is min-boggling bogus.
2. My vote on Slan was based on something that he said about malee, not Fennin (though if he jumped on that waggon that would not exactly help his case I guess.... DOn't ask me for details now, I have to reread that part myself :\
3. And this is the important part: I was clearly attacking you based on your "justification" (the blatantly non-existent one) for that vote and not at all on whom you voted (which according to yourself is a totally negligible aspect of your vote in the frst place...) and there's nothing that could seriously give you the idea that it is a chainsaw unless you consider every constellation of "person A votes person B for not liking his vote on person C" which will happen over a hundred times during an average game of mafia and is not a cainsaw in an estimated 99% of those cases.

Slan having the highest post count doesn't make him town. Though I did not recieve a pm that this game had restarted so its a very real possibilty that DN did not send him one either.

SD explanation is expected to be posted soon. And I expect him to be lynched because he didnt think about his accusation for 1 second.

As stated, as scum (given the facts e.g. that you did not post for some time), you lied out of a perception that not getting a PM was less incriminating than getting one and then avoiding the game. This is in fact the most logical reading of the events given SlandaarScum.

Iecerint's point is that Shadow's point is logical, since it is a likely versions of events given SlandaarScum.

People had already pointed out that you were scummy for not having posted, so saying "sry forgot the pm im here now though" would not have addressed those concerns. This explains why SlandaarScum might deviate from the truth.

As already stated, Iecerint's point is that Shadow's point is sound, regardless of whether it is accurate. This is important because town are not always accurate, but they make sound connections. <3 Shadow <3

Off-topic: This repeated use of the word "stretching" makes Iecerint uncomfortable. ^^;
