Happy Easter everyone! I'm pushing the deadline to tomorrow.
I'm back, sort of. Not a lot of free time to play, but I'm planning to be modding some mish mash and stuff this winter.

Eragon Mafia, a 17-Player Large Theme, will be coming to the large theme queue soon(ish) if all goes well. If you're interested, PM me to pre-in.

Heads are again counted in the morning. One was missing from the group.
"Guys, I found something!" screams Platinum Shadow. He holds up two bloody, medieval tunics covered with slashes. The bodies were nowhere to be found.
"There's a blood trail!" announces Snifit. The trail suddenly ends at a wall. A bloody hand had clearly swiped across it earlier. Jdietz43 gets down on his hands and knees.
"How is this possible?"
"What is it?"
"The blood doesn't stop at the wall. The trail continues under; I can tell from the pooling."
Yates kicks the wall with all his might. It leaves a considerable dent, and a metallic dinging rings through the room.
"That should have been a thud."
"Yeah, it's hollow."
Acosmist, who is carrying a prybar for no apparent reason, kicks it under the fake wall. He jumps onto it, and lifts the wall. Behind is nothing but a pile of bones.

Good news: I was right about the SK
Bad news: HL was my second best Town read after Ran

Snifit and Platinum: you are the two scummiest slots, which is why I think your predecessors replaced out. Give us your reads and tell us why we shouldn't lynch you.

Honestly, if UN were still in this game it would be turbo lynch time.

I haven't ready anything more than the last few pages, but I was following this game casually before the crash. What was the deal with Uberninja's posting?

I'm going to be busy for the most part of today, and for some time tomorrow morning. From what I've read, (the very little I did) I had some strong scum vibes from a few players whom I can't remember the names of. I believe Ranmaru was one of them, but again, I need to get a better feel for the game. I'll definitely return with a post of actual substance to help us find any people of shady misdoings.

Yates -- what are your reasonings for wanting UberNinja out? I know that's the guy who I replaced, and again I haven't read much, I stopped a bit before the end of D1.

You probably won't have to take notes for long unless you've got some really great explanations lined up. Uberninja ran your slot into the ground, hard.

Nah, there isn't a time for a turbo lynch ever. We need discussion.

Soda = July
Haschel = Yates
Dr. Doo = Snifit
Greypatch = JDietz

Baseline was trying to push a lynch on Soda early on in the game, using his over-justification as a scumtell. Baseline was actually SK.

DrDoo agreed with Baseline

Ran trying to disrupt everything. Asking Hachel if he agrees with Baseline. Haschel asked Uber.

Ran is arguing poorly against Haschel, and Greypatch.

Page 3 is missing so I don't have anything on that.

Ran votes Acosmist along with Haschel

Ran is very all over the place. Very pushy on page 4.

^ Random notes I was taking while reading.

Ranmaru wrote:
I was asking Acosmist for his opinion on Hiplop. Keep in mind that Aco still has his vote on Hiplop, yet he hasn't said a thing about him.

I was waiting for him to say anything before acting. I do agree that he seems to have done nothing.

Vote:Acosmist

^
This is the only thing I can agree on at this point in time.

Soda is a newb-null for me.
Baseline is nullscum because it seems like he uses Soda's backing off as justification to keep his vote. I'd like a little more from him.

I don't like that Dr doolittle hasn't said much else either. But Aco leaving his vote on Hiplop without saying much afterwards, is scummier to me. Why haven't you said anything about that?

You are right that Hiplop hasn't done much that can garner opinion. I just don't like that he hasn't even tried yet.

This is on page 4, after he just argued with Haschel and Greypatch earlier on page 2 about the whole Baseline made a stupid theory on Soda, and Haschel asked Uber a question. Jeez that's a lot of names in a short explanation. From where I'm at right now, (Page 4, and page 3 was missing) Ran hasn't stuck with one person to fully analyze anyone. He's just been literally all over the place. Very suspicious to me atm.

At the end of Page 4 Acosmist got kinda mad that he was playing mafia and no one else really was (it was a situation with Hiplop over RVS). I've played with Acosmist before, but that's usually a pro-town sign, especially on how easily he was wrecking DrDoos and Rans accusations towards him.

Basically Ran was voting Acos for RVS'ing Hiplop and not explaining his RVS vote. So essentially, he's wildly grasping at straws that early in the game.

FuDuzn brought up a very interesting point with this post on page 5:

FuDuzn wrote:@DrDoo:
DrDolittle wrote:
Counting even the number of letters in the names is a bit overboard to make an RVS post and stupid because it shows a wanting "to fit in" with other RVS. My vote is good.
DrDolittle wrote:
Ran: RSV needs no reason. I voted Aco because I just finished a game with him recently, and I don't know anyone else here. The vote after Fud was entirely a coincidence.

So within 5 posts he goes from chatstising someone for making a random vote and calling it stupid, to justifying his own RV claiming that 'he needs no reason'. How are you going to justify a vote on someone because of their RV yet then turn right around and say that your RV needs no explanation? Strong scum vibes from DrDoo

Back with the other Two, but the DrDoo thing needed immediate attention.

Beginning of page 6, Ran presented a silly argument against Acosmist.

Ranmaru wrote:2. Hiplop hasn't been posting as much as you have. Without his say, we can't tell if his second vote was RVS or not. We don't know if he really was busy, or just avoiding this thread on purpose.

That....makes no sense. Why are you speaking for another person, regardless of his alignment? This was well before Hiplop flipped town, but this desperately reeks of someone trying to piggyback a townie for some false town cred. Especially when users were somewhat attacking Acosmist for his style of play. Possibly an attempt to try and get a quick-lynch out of this?

For some reason, users (Haschel and Ranmaru continued harboring on the whole "Flavor" argument and how vital it is or isn't to a game. If it helps catch scum, then why does it matter? At what point is that type of thinking anti-town? It's smart play to know who knows what, and it's even smarter play to use that to your own advantage.

Captain Greaypatch wrote:You'll like this content Ranmaru .

I don't see why anyone has a town read on Ran. Yes, he's technically active(unlike everyone else including me ) but Ranmaru is making too much of a point of being the "town-hero". He ignores the crux of my arguements(just comes up with invalid response) then suddenly turns into a lurker hunting hero and stops responding, even though I posted a few questions(evasiveness). He even twisted me saying I didn't think I could lead a lynch THEN(still early days) into how "bad dumb greypatch isn't trying and isn't confident", even though that is how you would talk about a townie, after all from a suspicious pov I could be scum who is posting enough to not get lynched. I'm "dumb null-scum" but he's hasn't pushed it, almost as if he needed to test the waters first(which I think he did, have a look). This might sound funny at first, but calling me stupid IS a scumtell and it's used to damage a players credibility.

He might have posted questions and had arguements, but they've been as useful as a fake doorhandle. It's always the scum who like to talk about trivial bollocksit's a not so subtle way of trying to appear useful. His lurker hunting is part of this, he's constantly making a point of how "no one is helping as much as me". "This/your play could have been better" all day is not scumhunting.

Someone said they didn't like the Acosmist bandwagon and I'm going to have to agree, I doubt that's a wagon on scum that got 4 townies. We're not even near the dealine and there isn't much on him.

Probably one of the better posts from the first day. Basically sums up what I was thinking when I read this.

Page 8 is missing too, ;_;

Page 9 Uber was doubling his efforts to get a lynch on Greypatch/NOW IT'S JDIETZ CAUSE HE'S A JERK AND WANTS TO TURBO LYNCH PEOPLE FOR NO REASON, GOSH. WHAT A MAN GUY. Anyway, this is interesting to me and probably me alone cause I replaced Uber. Basically using his posts along with my notes to figure stuff out. Trying to read his posts earlier in the game was...a bit difficult, but definitely entertaining. No clue why he was doing that though. >_>

Beginning of Page 10 Greypatch has a bad counter-point against Ran. Basically belittling Rans points for little to no reason, and definitely without any real scumhunting behind it. It was basically, "oh that was your point? Well, nah." Ran came back and dealt with that quite well, and I liked his points behind his reasonings as well. Maybe one of the first times I agreed with Rans logic.

ACOSMIST :

Where do you think we should go/do next now that this has more or less come true.

Acosmist wrote:Soda Town-Baseline Scum

Soda gives Baseline credit for what he thinks are legitimate, but misdirected, attacks. Baseline doesn't follow up with a harsher attack, but actually posts a self-deprecating statement, because he knows he's attacking town and doesn't want to "pile on" when Soda said something so deferential.

Did you have a follow-up for this?

Alright this is what I have for now. I finished Day 1, and that's all the info I could come up with, it was especially hard cause there was some apparent system crash or something? So a lot of posts/pages were missing from my catch-up. I'll try and finish reading Day 2 once I come back from work, and then we can play some mafia!

Nothing about this sounds pro-town at all.

Day 3 and you want to speedlynch before anyone gives out any info or before any discussions are had.

Man, you must like, hate winning or something. Do you not like the color green?

Are you...

Anyways.

I'm Samus Aran, Town Joat.

I like your notes. Actually, I skimmed it. I'll read it thoroughly after this post.

Now that you posted your notes, I'll say it.

I have a guilty on Yates.

So move your votes on him now.

Ask for discussion.

Then ask for people to move their votes on someone. >_>

<_<

Believe the claim until counter-claim is posted, believe the role, and believe the result, Haschel was giving me scumvibes from early portions of D1.

Will vote once we have more discussion. No need for a speed-lynch yet if we have one scum in the bag.

Also, you are right. JD's post above was very scummy. He'll be lynched after Yates.

You would have been lynched ToDay, but I got that guitly on 'em. I didn't expect it, since Yates and House Lannister were my original hard town reads. JD Seemed townie, but notice how he left me and Yates as 'fine' because there were already other scummies around. Basically, he wasn't doing any scumhunting of his own. JD's intentions match up with Greypatch's intentions as well.

P-edit: OH No I don't want a quick lynch but you are right. I want discussion. That is fine with me.

Another thing. Earlier on in D1, Haschel FOS'd me. Right after, Greypatch came in to attack me for a very crap reason, out of no where.

I felt he would have been latching on to things already said in thread, and possibly following a scum mate. Get me?

Shadow, I want you to elaborate on this:

Ran hasn't stuck with one person to fully analyze anyone. He's just been literally all over the place. Very suspicious to me atm.

Also, you might have missed this, but I said that I would be fine with Acosmist asking about flavor if he was doing other things, like scumhunting.

I don't see why I wouldn't still find Uber's slot scummy, but if you're determined to spin it that me pushing his slot at the start of the day is anti-town then so be it. I see no reason not to vote for you based on what happened previously.

CC's to Ran? If not then Yates goes up for adoption.
