Group up, force objectives, push your advantage. If you are stronger than them (note that "they have an X we can't just fight them that way" is a part of this), force a fight, kill them, take all the things. You had a huge window where you were just running around doing

when you could have been forcing baron, forcing towers, etc.

The move on top tower is the entire reason why you lost the game in the end. You had a

half-hour

of an advantage and threw it away because instead of contesting the fight on open ground over the inhibitor where you

didn't

have a tower hitting you, you decided to fight their entire team

while facetanking said tower

. You can say GAs and Trundle passives all you want, that tower is

still hitting you

in the end. In addition, you guys had a pretty good comp for just poking all day - you could have sat at a tower, pushed wave after wave at them, poked safely with Caitlyn, Xerath, and Nid, and then just rolled over them once they were weak using the strength of Sona ult. Instead you made the worst possible decision you could have at that point and got rolled for it.

You can initiate under a tower easily in some circumstances. That shit definitely wasn't one of them. It wasn't "we messed up the follow through" it was "we messed up even trying that at all because it wasn't a situation we could afford it"

Note: nocturne ult allows jumping on the ad carry. Wukong charge and ult allows nuking of the ad carry and anyone else he hits. ziggs ult allows nuking of everything. Janna ult can easily push back the sona initiation under their tower, causing mass mayhem, etc. It was a bad idea.

These in-house games are too boring to cast straight-laced once you reach a certain point; it seems no one in these knows how to

just end it

and so they all end up being hour-long games with 40 minutes of dead air to fill, the easiest way to do that is to feed into the whole idea that I'm just an asshole in the first place and go into insult comic mode. Simple, easy, to the point, gives me a coherent persona as a caster to stick to. Look at all the popular casters on the e-sports scene - each has their own distinct personality that is the reason why people enjoy watching them. I'm quite interested in the whole idea of things and want to try to work my way into said scene eventually. That means as a caster I need to start fleshing out my own persona more and more.

The fact of the matter is that nobody is watching these for brilliant play - people are watching these to see people they know playing this game. People are watching these to laugh at the bad things, share in the triumphs, and generally to be entertained. The learning aspect of a lot of the reasons why LoL streams are popular (it's a lot easier to see a quick trick on a champion and go try it out in a game than it is to execute a pro SC2 player's strategies, as an example) doesn't really exist there - thus it's necessary to trump up the entertainment aspect of what's going on. I think I do a quite good job of both bringing attention to the bad things in a humorous manner and letting people share in those triumphs at the same time - a bit mean-spirited, yes, but that's just my sense of humor and if it's what brings in viewer numbers and if my viewers are happy I don't really care to change it.

They had Wukong/Ziggs/Noct/Graves/Janna. Why is initiating on them a great idea while facetanking the tower a good thing? Yes, you can initiate under tower, but you generally have creeps there so you don't start taking free damage until you're ready to all-in on the other team. Taking an assload of free damage against a team with 5 different flavors of AoE cc, a very strong counter-initiate, and a good deal of AoE damage isn't a good engagement. It's fucking retarded.

You can say theoretical vs in-practice all you want, but the fact is it wasn't even a good idea in theory. You have no right to call him fucking retarded when you guys just spent 50 minutes in a game that you had practically won on the fucking champ select screen and then pissed it all away in the span of 3 minutes.

So yes, in theory, if you ignore the fact the entire enemy team was there and that they had stronger team fighting presence, you were tanking the tower before the fight started, and they had a shitton of shit to fuck you up, etc, it'd have been a brilliant move. Which is why I tend to go through after the game and post commentary on things - you'll notice after each of my casts (and after each in-house I play in) I go through, watch it again, and write my comments as I go. I am going to be an entertainer first and foremost. Keep in mind that I've committed myself to 22 and a half hours of LoL content a

. This is an addition to working ~18 hours a week, meaning that I essentially have a full time job between actual work and my stream (and I only get paid for half of it). The fact that I take the time after I'm done with my hours for the day, go through, watch the

That may have been the most intense game I've been in. We kept pushing to their nexus turrets and then not being able to do anything. We lost all of our inhibitors and our nexus was at half health for a large portion of the game, while we constantly had to deal with super minions in our base. (We lost out nexus turrets while we all went to stop them from taking baron...they didn't have smite and Audio managed to flash in and smite steal, which saved us from losing the game outright.) Then finally we took baron while 2 of them were respawning. They came to contest right at the end and Pheonix was able to just stand there beating away at their team. I don't think they could find him in the fight to focus him because it was so crowded :p We took out 4 of them and FINALLY got their nexus.

The most intense moment for me was when our nexus was like 2/3 hp and riven came in for the bd. She got it to literally ONE hit away from dead when I finally killed her.

Really the best game I've had. Was insanely close cut and intense. MY HEART. STILL PUMPING.

I prefer JD streaming than some of the more professional one simply because his commentaries are better IMO for learning purpose.

"oooh trundle going for the gank, ooooh, ooooooh, ooooooh, what a nice play!" doesn't tell me much.
"ULT MORGANA, USE YOUR UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULT... You're dead morgana. This makes me sad" tells me a morgana ult could have saved morgana in this context.
"WHY IS THIS LEB NOT PROCING HER ULT SYGILS??? HER COOLDOWN IS JACK-SHIT AND SHE HAS BLUE!" makes me realize all the damage that is being missed from not procing that second sygil.
