So basically, if a vig targeted you, you wouldn't be killed (neither would the vig), but they'd turn into Ditto (I'm now calling you Ditto) like you, and on the subsequent night if either you/vig!Ditto was targeted, same thing would happen? You pretty much take away people's powers, essentially?

More usefully, yes. Anyone targeting me loses their role and becomes a ditto too. Ditto is not my role name, but it's what I'm gonna go by for now, to avoid death-noting. It was specifically noted that voting me does not ditto a person, but any other action does. So I'm not sure, as I said, if you successfully modkill me, or get ditto'd. I'd suspect that you turn me into a survivor, then kill me, but I don't want to test that hypothesis. At all.

I wouldn't put it past Izak to have put a deathnote style role in- a role that NKs anyone by quoting their role name. This was used in mind screw mafia. I know I'm a newbie, so shouldn't know it- I just like to read. Also, in pennance:

Out of interest, lady high shadowgirl, is there something more to your role? I suspect perhaps you may be some kind of insecure god or something- as in, if people vote you, you die, or something. Or a douglas adams style if we prove you exist then you don't. Care to comment, or not? I'd happily accept either.

Well that's kind of my point. You can only die by lynching (or maybe by supreme goddess Shadowgirl[glory be to her forever]) and you induct people into being what you are. It's quite a powerful town role, and it would make a lot more sense as a duplicating alignment role. I also have trouble figuring out what would happen if mafia targeted you, would they just turn into an invicible non nking scum? I can't really imagine this role without those being targeted turned into some sort of 3rd party.

Yeah, except that outing himself completely screws himself of ever recruiting someone because no one will ever target him now. I mean, unless someone with a mostly dud role wants to confirm it, but still...

That's an interesting theory. Do you mean a role that could only NK someone if they knew their name? That might be a good reason to not have a NK. But ah, all speculation at this point.
