How are we deciding teams? 5 captains choosing back and forth, completely random, people just picking by default, or...

I'd guess 5 teams of 5 (herpderp), 4 matches per team (every team going against every team). Unless there are better ideas?

If we're doing that, I almost wonder if we can get enough players + caster people together to run two streams at once. I know there are other people on the site who are stream-capable' we can probably get away with pulling people from the player pool on off-games if we can't get that many people together and still have pretty much every game be streamed. I'd like to note that since I'm furnishing a prize pool for this, I would

Depends on if we're doing this over a series of nights or not. I'm for that if we want to go with a 4-week or 2-night format; don't really want to be casting 8-12 games in one night, though, so if we're going with doing this all on one night I think a bo1 format works best. It'd be hard for me to be able to cast things if we're doing it on a sort of "when we're around" schedule, though.

Seems like we could get away with that fairly easily. Kind of hard to determine who gets to captain each team, though.

a) Having JD pick the five best players as captains, or
b) Having everyone send JD a list of five people they'd like to see as captains as a majority rule kind of thing.

I also suggest team drafting in quicktopic to avoid hurt feelings, but perhaps I'm just being oversensitive.

I think it may be an option to use the lowest elo players as captains.

The problem with that is the number of purely unranked players. Take amrun for example. I'm largely in favor of just having jd pick five people to captain regardless of skill level or whatever.

Problem with that is the number of players who aren't familiar with other players and therefore don't know who is good at what. People with more experience with a larger number of the MS players will know who can fill what role the best.

Off the top of my head, I know we have Peg, Hito, Jovian, and Ank who also stream. We can use the one off-team as casters, if that's how it works. I'd be up to cast on the B stream with someone, if we could wing it.

I don't think there are five people who know the preferences of 80% of the players, let alone 100%.
What about a google document? Each person can fill in his own preferences for role, lane, etc. I'd also be able to set up a spreadsheet for players to fill in their availability regarding match date(s).

I can stream, I suppose I could also play but I haven't played League in a while and I will continue not playing it for a while cause my next week is gonna be awful

Also, my ELO is roughly ~1000, according to Zito's plug inny thing.
