Nero Cain wrote: All you or anyone had to do is ask me if they wanted me to explain my reads.

If you think they are scum(or suspect) why would'nt you bring up the reads and explain them unprompted? Any of them.
Ninja had to ask you directly for the reads in the first place because you did'nt give any.
How would you expect to get them lynched? Particulary since you think the leading wagon is town.

And please explain in clear terms why you are voting firestarter.

More town than null on ccv.
to elaborate on ccv-red,
I think CCV using the phrase 'wrote the book on rack scum' was him attempting to be humorous with his wording again and red over-reacted to it with his accusation.

ITT, town are making themselves obvious.

WHY CAN'T ALL GAMES BE LIKE THIS?

Town: vijay2whatthehellisthisusername, Nero, Benmage, Lady, HezLucky, scooby, red, mastin, psyche, khan, shotty 2

Scum: Maxous, firestarter, jason

Who's left?

The Mini-Librarian
rack
DeasVail
Macros
NihilisticNinja
drmyshottyizsik
Junpei
Praetyre

Mostly lurkers.

More later.

Stuff I need to address.

Firestarter wrote:NN, please explain to me why my vote contradicts my base reads?

NN
- answer my query please.

DeasVail wrote:My main problem is the rack read and vote, as he does not acknowledge agreement with everyone else and presents his reasoning as his own.

DV
- So let me see, the reason you have a problem with my rack vote is because I presented reasoning of my own... I fail to see how that is even remotely scummy, explain please?

Nero Cain wrote:though I have to agree that fire is very probable scum. Psyche is his #1 but he joins the rack wagon?

Nero
- You might want to read my #299 - when you have read it, please come back and tell me if I'm still probable scum.

mastin2 wrote:Ohgod. Oh, god. Firestarter. really. is. scum. That post. just.
painfully
so. IioA, bad reads, scummy tone...

mastin2
- OhMyGAWDOverreactionMuch...
mastin2 wrote:Firestarter tripped dozens of scumtells in that post, and is now on my scumlist above drmy. Specifics later (need to type them up).

Specifics and explanation required please?

Firestarter wrote:
Kublai Khan - Town-read

Most of what KK has written so far I agree with, except maybe the stance on scooby.
I agree with Pine here, that death shouldn't be in the pipeline for someone who only posted
once, and that was to confirm.
I came in and did the same thing, confirmed. Where was the pressure on me?

KK
- The bold part in the above quote should not have been aimed at you, it should have been aimed at TML, as it was he who suggested killing scooby for "Confirm without content".
I've re-read the interactions between you and Pine regarding scooby, and it seems I got my wires crossed.
TML - scooby should die.
Pine - WTF
KK - scooby deserving of pressure, but not death.
So yeah, wires crossed.

jasonT1981 wrote:Firestarter post...hmmm, not too sure on it right now, gut tells me something is off about it. But it is just gut.

jason
- More "firestarter is scum", but no explanation - please explain?

Pine wrote:The suspicion of Firestarter has merit.

Pine
- Yep, you guessed it, explanation of the above is required please?

redFF wrote:Firestarted came into the thread very late and posts his catchup post, which is literally just a summary of the game.
Then lists a reasonless scum read on rack(of course, when everyone else is doing it, why not?)
I thought this part of his post was particularly silly
Nero Cain - Scum-read

The Shotty incident. PL'ing him. Not gonna happen.
You say you were not the one to bring up the idea that shotty should be PL'ed.
But you grabbed the baton and ran with it anyway.
When you were quizzed on it, you failed to deliver anything in the way of proof that shotty
was a VI. Yes, those who were questioning you could have looked for it themselves,
but the BoP lies with you.
redFF - Null-read

On my re-read, I found this slot to be one of the tougher reads for some reason.
As I've said before, the whole Policy Lynching thing is not my bag.
I disagree with it, but as stand alone point in ones ISO, not worthy of being called scum for.

So nero cain is a scumread for
- wanting to pl shotty
- saying he was not the one who brought it up (which is true)
- "grabbing the baton and running with it" (he never denied this)
- failing to prove how
shotty
is a bad player... (hint that's something he doesn't need to prove, even looking at only shotty's posts from this game)
So all that makes nero cain a scumread, K.

Now I'm a null read, even though nero seems to be a scumread purely from pushing a policy lynch, and firestarter says
As I've said before, the whole Policy Lynching thing is not my bag.
I disagree with it, but as stand alone point in ones ISO, not worthy of being called scum for.
???

As for his other reads, scum read on psyche, one of the bigger pushers of rack all game. You can't really have a scumread on both of them buddy.

RedFF
- First of all, the summary is for me. It may help others in the future, but what I always do, WHAT I ALWAYS DO, is post my thoughts in-game.

Regarding my rack vote, momentum was gathering and he just happened to be a scum read of mine.
(I assume you have by now, seen my subsequent post after I gave out my reads, that my lists were in no particular order?)

At the time I posted my reads, Psyche had about 3 posts? None with any real content except a rack vote.
rack had been gathering momentum so scum coming into the game and slapping a vote onto a player that was on the way to being
bandwagoned looked opportunistic. iirc correctly I was read up to #229.
At that time Psyche
WAS NOT
one of the bigger pushers of rack -
this is lies
.
Regarding Nero & you, red, on the PL issues... It's more a gut feeling I have.
You've been quite brazen about wanting a shotty PL, whereas Nero got very defensive about it.
So, Nero remains a scum-read, you a null-read.

~

Ill get to everything else tomorrow.

Ther was Zero content from Psyche before his vote.

to be honest I'm just kinda sitting back and watching. When I see something that needs attention I'll do some yelling until then I feel like I'm most useful by putting my vote down on whatever bandwagon [that I agree with!!!] has the most momentum. Though I might get bored and try to lead a lynch on someone I find scummy.

The rack wagon is building way to fast. I mean everybody and their grandmothers are on it!!! That right there sets off all sorts of klaxons.

The first part of Fire's post is IOA. I'm not a real big fan of alot of his reads, especially his town reads. And the whole Psyche vote looks like a bus is pretty stupid. If anything its distancing between him and psyche.

I'm not sure why exactly, but this is my first game that has started post-crash and I'm trying to improve my play.

Firestarter:
From what I remember, you basically said that Rack's post was bad, which was what everyone else said, but you didn't acknowledge what anyone else had said.

@Firestarter: How would you like me to further explain a statement that is synonymous with "I agree"? Other people made a case on you, and I didn't see any glaring flaws in it. Ergo, it has merit.

shotty-grow the fuck up.

What was the point of this Nero?
It's never pro-town to rebut with that statement.
Why do you want me to shut up? Because I suspect you?
How about we give reasons not blanket statements.

In 447, and ever since you came in the game, you were all whining about how the big bad meany Nero is all willing to lynch you for being a useless twit. Instead of telling me what I should or shouldn't be doing why don't you ya know actually do your job and scumhunt.

Any-who, I never called you a big bad meany. And if I did I want proof, come on these empty statements are getting old, show some proof Nero, lay it on me.... or wait, what? everyone with half a brain on this site knows you suck balls as a player. All they have to do is click on your games to see. The ones that are asking me to provide "proof" that you are a vi are prob scum.

Now, now, boys. No need for this unpleasantness quite yet.

Let's look at this game with not-so-fresh eyes.

Remember when I called Maxous scum? Yeah, that was all a dream. I really didn't. (After reviewing his ISO, he's back in the null pile, his NC vote is terrible too).

Let's look at that null pile again now:

The Mini-Librarian - mostly townish; yeah, go ahead and put him in the town pile
rack - the most popular wagon right now; lurky for a hydra, but the case on him feels kind of manufactured, I don't agree with my replacee on him at all
DeasVail - throw him into the town pile
Macros - kind of scummy so far, but he only has a few posts
NihilisticNinja - something is off with NN; ISO is in order
drmyshottyizsik - so far, pretty focused on NC; meh, not a fan of this play so far
Junpei - I've been in this game less than 12 hours and already have more posts than this guy
Praetyre - why hasn't he been replaced yet?
oh, and add pine to this list too

I've played with Neroscum three times. His play here vs those three times is like night vs day.

Khan is mostly gut, and thus is weak.

Objection. The earth is in fact elliptical.

In seriousness, LLD dotpoint why Rack is scum please. Thank you.

An ellipse is a two-dimensional shape. Earth is a three-dimensional object, which makes it officially designated as an oblate spheroid. Thanks for playing the earth science game!

I'll catch up some time this evening.

Well the question asked if it was round not spherical, so I assumed his question regarding the "shape" only dealt with a two-dimensional representation of the stellar body in question.

Exactly. And at least one of your suspects having done this doesn't change how you view the wagon at all?

Like I said. rack's town. The pseudolynch on him looks horribad to me, and quite frankly, I can't seem to understand why from your perspective it doesn't at least look fishy.

This pseudo lynch crap you're postulating is terrible. You're making it up to try and disperse what is a perfectly solid wagon on a VERY SCUMMY PLAYER.

No I don't think so LLD. I think what Mastin is saying has merit. He hasn't said that Rack isn't playing scummily. Rather with the amount of people on his wagon, coupled together with the fact that a fair amount of those people are your/his scumreads, makes it far less likely that Rack is in fact scum, making him rather town playing badly.

Hey Antihero. How's it going?

And personally I find that questioning townreads on yourself is scummy.
